given how much we have in common, im willing to put in quite a bit of effort...she is motivated and intelligent.

she seems to genuinely like my jokes...since this past convo we had a whole other one about the piano.

she played for a long time and saved up while young to pay 1k for an upright (she was mad young, like 10 or something). since, her uncle has donated or gifted like 5 steinway grand pianos to charities and 1 to her. so she actually has a steinway GRAND piano covered in her living room while they do renovations to her house.

the only think kinda troubling to me is a) the fact she KNOWS she is hot (usually not a good sign, but who knows) and b) the fact that she is very very much like my ex sarah of whom you all have seen pictures. BUT, she is far different in other ways so i dont see that as a huge problem...it'll be funny though if she does see pictures of sarah b/c lol, they are very similar.

in any case, thanks for your assessment jeremy, i certainly appreciate it.

i haven't asked her out again and wont for a long time. i agree ideally she'll finally be comfortable enough to ask me but we'll see. i did offhandedly mention it though b/c i have a very funny story about buying an upright as an 8 year old (my mom took me to see this thing and the story follows fromt hat) but it's not the same w/o me doing the impersonations w/ the inflections of the voices so i told her that and said id save it for a conversation either over the phone or in person should she ever be comfortable enough.

she didn't respond directly to the comment so that will be the last of those and certainly no more forward motion in that direction until she is either the one sucggesting it or she outright says she is comfy enough and gives me a window.

for now though i'll concentrate on writing more limricks about drinking (see daryn's thread). those are fun [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I very much had a similar experience from myspace where I just totally clicked with someone. She eventually asked me out and well its a really long story.

One bit of advice, make sure you do things to remain a challange to her. The girl from above also very good looking and knew it. Girls like that are always going to have guys they can choose from especially on something like myspace so its important while you are being yourself and showing her what makes you great that you not become to easy and make her work for you as well.

My biggest error was being too available for chats, email, phone etc at the beginning.

And, I can speak from past experience that women aged 30-35 either recently divorced without kids or never been married are the biggest gamers... They are much more likely to be down for whatever. And, these days, there are PLENTY of 30-35 yr olds that are better than a 7...
