FPHG available

Has anybody else ever had FPHG start saving HH files which have the "Hand histories are only displayed for hands that you were dealt cards" text in them?

The corrupted HH file will occasionally happen, but I never saw it do this before.


My current ToDo list is now as follows:

(1) Add an option to make FPHG only write HH files you are involved in.

(2) Add an option to force the 6max tag to hand histories.

(3) Add a -debug option to try to help track down why some people are getting extreme CPU usage.

(4) Make sure it doesn't write "Hand histories are only displayed for hands that you were dealt cards" blank HH files.

The votes for the interface kinda showed people overal would like to keep FPHG as command line only, but have I forgotten anything on my ToDo list which has been mentioned before? [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Need help, I'm sure the answer is in here somewhere but this thread has gotten so long I can't find it. I just updated my Poker Tracker Omaha and now I am not importing any files. It appears I'm still picking up the hands but no import. When I set this up I put it in Empire I think and it was working fine but hasn't worked since I updated PTO. I can't figure out whats wrong now. Any help?

I don't know anything about PTO I'm afraid, but I am guessing it is something to do with the new Empire update.

Have you tried making a "fake" Intertops folder with a fake Intertops.exe in it and see if that helps. Also, is their a "lightning bolt" in PTO? If so, then maybe you will have to use that.

fphg stopped working for me about a week ago for no apparent reason. i just downloaded the newest version and it still didn't work. i checked the readme, but it was corrupt and wouldn't open. i assume its just a problem with where i have my empirepoker executable or whatever. any ideas?

OK working now. You do have to use the lightning bolt then go to "configure import of observed hands (Party and Affiliates only..) button and add the old Empire folder.

When you run FPHG, does it still says things like "Found new table", "New Hand", etc and is it still writing .hhf files to the folder where it is being run from?

It sounds like PT got updated and the old EmpirePoker.exe trick isn't working anymore. I think the "lightning bolt" should still work though? Late here, but I will try to write a step by step guide on setting up the lightning bolt tomorrow (or if anybody else wants then to feel free...).

PS: I wish I knew what was causing the corrupted zip file thing, I have new host and used a new archiver, yet it still seems to be happening the odd time? [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Was datamining through the night. This morning everything still working fine. PHG just using 2-3% of CPU.

Then I opened a couple more tables and sat down to play. Only things open are PP, PHG, PAHud, & PT. I reopen Task Manager and all of a sudden PHG is using about 50% of CPU. PP is still down at 1-2%. Memory usage has not changed. I have 1GB and everything together is using about .4 GB with the peak having been aat .47

PP is running at a normal speed. PT seems to be importing at a normal speed. Just PHG missing all kinds of hands at that point. Also I was only doing ring games. Stricly 10/20 10 Player tables.

Rebooting resolves everything.

This is not a huge deal (especially considering the price I paid for PHG [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ) but it would be interesting to know what causes it to mess up.

I will add some extra logging to the next version, but the only thing I could think that would cause this to happen is that ReadProcessMemory() is failing and being retried many times in many blocks (this would cause this kind of strange behaviour).

Can I ask how many other people are getting this, and did it just start happening after the last update?

Edit the supplied run.bat batch file to look like this:

@echo off
freephg.exe -e txt

Then use the batch file to run FPHG rather than the exe itself.
