Yeah, I actually didn't play too horribly despite being on the worst run of my career. Certainly didn't play well, but thats pretty much an impossibility after 3 months of running bad and 2 straight losing months.

[ QUOTE ] my weekend at commerce in one hand. I open KTo in the hijack playing either 8 or 9 handed. folded to bb, a guy who loves to try to win pots, who calls. Flop is Ts 8c 3s, he checkraises, I 3 he 4 I call. Turn is a 2h. He bets, I call. River is the 2s. He bets, I call. He says "you're gonna be upset" and rolls 7d2d. [/ QUOTE ] Standard. Also standard is that this happens at 1/2 and not a lower game. [/ QUOTE ] LOL. Bugstud, you do realize that hand was played against Roc right? So super standard. I thought you knew him. I guess I could have warned you but I doubt it changes anything. |

Yeah against Roc you need to go like 19-23 bets on the flop before you can begin to give him credit for the possibility of having flopped a pair. Of course that wouldn't have changed anything here because after he 22 and you 23 he will have to call 1 time and spike a pair. Then he might even get a river c/r in.

[ QUOTE ]
Crazy Mike loses. [/ QUOTE ] Trip report puleeze. In other news, surf and surfdoc go to oceans tonight and round up Jed, Danny, and some douchbag sunglass wearing dude to play 40. We win all the dollars and quit the game. Danny was tilted so hard and after the game comes over in his usual fashion to recap exactly who won what and we both just basically shrug it off until he says something like "did anyone really win tonight" and I say "well mostly just the rake". He goes into his typical salty guy routine "okay guy, you take 3.5 racks off the table and then blame it on the rake." We head for the door trying super hard not to laugh but I am not sure how successful we were. |

Basically what happened was exactly what I told him was going to happen. Every time he ran fairly well he was barely breaking even because of his awful play and he had to run like 10 heathen Gods to pull ahead. I told him that when the situation is reversed and he is the one running bad he would get felted. The situation got reversed. He gambled until his last dollar was gone.
I also have no idea why you quit Danny when he is on tilt, tilty Danny has been a staple customer in almost all of my 4+ rack wins. I sort of miss Ocean's now, I'm looking forward to playing there again this week at some point. |

no limit has been fun, but I couldn't resist temptation and went back to my live limit game, proceeded to win >35bb in under 5 hours before the table broke up bc ALL my good hands held up, I even sucked out on a guy with kings when I flopped trips with my jacks
that was actually my biggest live limit win in over 4 months, in which I've played A LOT of sessions tonight I wanted to go for a repeat, unfortunately I ran like isht again and got stuck pretty bad, but then a couple guys left and the table turned short handed, allowing me to make a big comeback and I actually made a semi decent plus before the table broke up I'm glad I still enjoy teh limit |
