[/ QUOTE ] No trash talking IS NOT part of poker. It's a relatively recent fad propagated by immature little 'generation why' punkasses whose hormones dictate their table manners. Poker is not the NBA, or sure as hell shouldn't be anyway. That said I'm not sure as reported this constitutes trash talking. Remarks about someone's play that are unprovoked and intended to raise their ire constitute trash talking in my book. However if an obnoxiously aggressive player is constantly betting into and re raising me I'm probably going to let him know in the politest possible way how much of an idiot he is as soon as I win a big pot or bust him out to send a message to the rest of the table. I don't think that's trash talking as much as sticking up for one's self or maintaining a table image. EDIT: Upon further review Aaron looks like a little [censored] in this instance if Rousso is telling the truth--which isn't a given since she's in law school.

I was the short stack in Seat Five. I didn't see the aftermath since I obviously busted on the hand but here is what I can verify:
-Big Blind's raise was to 2200, not 2000 as reported, and my all in was for 2325 and not 2150. -The clock was called relatively quickly. The whole thing was maybe 6 minutes. -Vanessa stated twice she thought he had Kings. I don't recall hearing the word idiot but did hear the word crazy multiple times. And she had asked everyone at the table if he was a crazy guy on the previous hand. -She did hoot and holler after the laydown. I found it quite amusing that she was so proud of herself that she played horribly. I did think she had AK though and would guess everyone else assumed so also. AJ makes her play less bad but should have made the laydown relatively easy. - I didn't think she was particularly out of line...the most out of line person during the actual hand was me by a mile ( I got up in the middle of her decision, giving away that I knew I was beaten and wasn't blocking an A)
