So WSOP POY last year and possible ME champ this year? Not bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

That would be 2 of the 3 legs of the Daniel Negreanu's Triple Crown (and certainly the most difficult legs).

[/ QUOTE ]

What's the 3rd, banging Evelyn Ng?

Where else can I get updates online besides CP?

[/ QUOTE ]
I look at pokerwire, but I think they get the information from Card Player. Card Player has exclusive coverage. I love their great reports, including the position the players raised and called from.

Thought Process on the final hand
by Lenny on 8/8/2006 15:57

Rizen limped with A-6 knowing the chip leader would raise with anything. Gold did raise to about 500k and Eric went ahead and pushed for about 2 million. Gold had a hand again with Tens and called easily.

"Maybe it was a bad play, maybe not. I thought he would be raising any two and if he has a hand maybe I get lucky."

Eric is obviously disappointed with the way he finished but he can be very proud of how he played this tournament as a whole. Great game Rizen, we'll see you online!

Wow, i'm sad to say it was a terrible play by Rizen.

Why? Why? Why risk over 2 million to win $600,000 against the chip leader? With ace-rag?

[/ QUOTE ]

Rizen had a read that Gold would raise any 2...but yet he's only gonna call a limp>push with top 5%, if even that many. So 95% of the time Rizen is gonna pick up 1/4 of his stack in chips, and 5% of the time he's all in as a 2-1 to 3-1 dog...he's only in terrible shape against AA. Sounds like a great play at the wrong time to me and just some bad luck.

Well, you're the expert, but if he had a read that Gold was raising any two cards it can't be that bad of a play, can it?

Not to mention that he has 2 final table finishes and a bracelet just this year.

[/ QUOTE ]
Also, his tears cure cancer. Unfortunately, Allen Cunningham has never cried.

Both Negreanu and Juanda said that Cunningham is now the best player out of that group.

[/ QUOTE ]
No, Negreanu said that Cunningham was the best of them back when they were all the proto-Crew. He didn't say anything about how Cunningham compared to all of them now.
