Pretty comprehensive FAQ, good work. I was just wondering when you were going to address when you will announce what the FPPs are good for. I have around 50k sitting in my account now waiting to be used for something!

For those who are having disconnect issues:

Do you have Party client open also?

I'm having some lag issues for the first time (got disconnected on one hand, getting timed-down unexpectedly on others) and just happened to have Party/Empire open for the first time also (even after I minimized the lobby).

I played my first Party-SNG today while on WPEX at same time. But the lag has continued even after the SNG was completed as long as I had the lobby still open.

Things seemed much smoother once I closed the lobby.

To recap - Virtually zero problems when I played WPEX without Party/Empire.
got noticeably slower when I just logged-on to Party (whether at a table or not).

Yes, but not always. If I am running another resource hog I will also have trouble. Pokertracker updates with Gametime+ or a couple Gametime windows open also counts as a resource hog to me and cause problems.

WSEX GM,

One of the highest priorities should be to ensure that a couple things happen when a player gets disconnected.

1) Anytime a player has an investment in the pot, and has 1 or more all-in disconnect protections available, then if a player is unable to act due to a disconnect, the player must always be declared all-in and receive that sidepot if his hand wins. Sometimes your software will disconnect and fold my hand as if I intentionally folded, losing my interest in the pot. That is unacceptable behavior.

2) In the event of a disconnect, the player should have at least the normal amount of time to act before having his hand declared all-in (if an investment in the pot has been made) or folded (if no investment). Most sites give a disconnected player an extra 10 seconds or similar, and that would be great! Sometimes a disconnect will happen, and your software will reconnect quickly enough to act if even just the normal timer were running, but a bug in your software instead folds my hand before I am reconnected.

I'm not the only one who has had this problem: thread.

Please make sure fixing the handling of disconnects is receiving just as much attention as preventing disconnects. Disconnects are occasionally unavoidable, the software needs to handle it properly when they do happen.

Thank you,
Benjamin

Fix the HH files!!! tables name with numbers DONT SHOW UP correctly in Pokertracker. The hh file leaves a blank where the table name is supposed to be. This messes up if you're playing two different stakes at the same time, and if two tables has number in them, pokertracker will read it as same stakes because the name field for table name with NUMBERS is empty!.

for example

regular table here
10.00/20.00 Texas Hold'em (Split Limit) - GMT Fri Aug 11 22:22:09 2006
Table 'Investment Odds', 10 seats max, not started, Real money, Money game

table with numbers as name show up like this

Hand ID 50877594
10.00/20.00 Texas Hold'em (Split Limit) - GMT Fri Aug 11 23:50:08 2006
Table '' , 5 seats max, not started, Real money, Money game

Fix it so it least show the numbers or just change all the table names to letters then the problem would be solved.

Someone post here when the disconnect protection is fixed. I've decided I've lost my last pot to this bug and won't be playing there until it's fixed.

This has happened to me on more then once. The all in protection is supposed to protect your hand...I got screwed with the nuts once, and another hand that was not a lock, but doable. I also got "disconnected" from a SnG, and got a pop up message saying "We are closed for one hour for maintenence" I got on to live support, and they swore tome they were not down even though I couldnt get back onto wpex. Finally I was able to get back on, but was blinded down in half. I again complained to them vie email, and they ended up refunding my buyin without ever acknowledging the pop up I got. They flat out denide it. I will also not be returning until these bugs are fixed.

worked for me last night for the first time. But that was a real disconnect where my connection went dead. I think there are times when their server gets screwed up or some other random problem occurs and you just get folded.
