i was wondering how you guys 8 table? i can 4 table pretty easily, i tried 6 tabling and it was hectic at times and i had very little to no reads...i just made a judgement of how decent they were by there stack size (probably a stupid way to make a judgement) and played based off of that.

[/ QUOTE ]
I typically 12-table w/ PAHUD and PT running. Judging skill by stack sizes is bad bad bad.

1/2 NL live. 9 handed and I'm running like a poker God. I buyin for $150, pretty table standard.

Early in the session, EP miniraises to $4. 3 callers and I call in the BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Flop comes 9 2 8. SB bets $8 and I raise to $30. All fold and she pushes with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and I win.

I pick up KK and EP makes it $7. 2 call $7 and I repop to $35 and all fold. Boo...

I get 66 and EP raises $8. 5 callers to me and I call in the BB. The flop comes A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I lead for $40 and all fold to LP who pushes for $140. I call and beat his A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I run hot.

Hour later I pick up A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and limp in MP (dont know how to play FR for [censored]). 4 players to the flop, which is A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. BB bets $8, I raise to $25 and he pushes. This is the same villan who held AQ[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] the previous hand. I call and he has A5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Ouch again.

I pick up 22 in the CO and call an EP raiser who has a bigger stack. 5 to the flop, which is K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. All check to me and I bet $30. After alot of hesitation, the last person folds and I show my cards. The guy mumbles and slams his fist down, saying he had A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I laugh.

Few hands later in a straddled pot, the same villan above (who, by the way, looks like a UFC fighter) raises to $25 in LP. This is his standard open (God knows why). Earlier in the session, he raised a few limpers to $30 on the button, all folded, and he thumped down 27o and proclaimed "THATS HOW YOU PLAY THE BUTTON BABY!". I asked "really?" and he nods. I chuckle to myself.

Anyway, he raises to $25 on the button and I raise him $100 (pretty much his remaining stack) with AA. He takes a long time and mumbles "this is a tough laydown" then eventually pushes. I instacall and destroy his AJ[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (flopping an Ace).

I'm at about $750 at this point and feeling goot. I take a few more pots then eventually donk off a bit, leaving the game a little later with $650.

I take my friend home (who I drove, and he has work in the morning) and go to IHOP. I feel the urge to play a bit longer and go back to play. I buyin for $140.

I pick up Q3s and check my option (3 to the flop). Flop comes Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I pot it, stupid calling station calls. Turn comes A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and I pot again, he calls. River comes a T and I c/c his tiny bet. He shows K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and wins. I'm down to about $80.

Insane hand comes up. I limp in EP (we are 6 handed now) and MP raises to $5 straight. Crazy guy raises to $12 and 2 calls to me. I call $12 (bad I think) and MP calls too. Big pot.

Board comes 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. BINGO. SB pushes for $60something. I push for $60something. MP pushes for $300. Crazy guy in LP pushes for $120. 4 players all in. I'm creaming myself.

SB has 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
MP has 55
Crazy guy LP has KK.

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I hold my breath.

River: K
I scream and curse. I leave shortly after.

Default I push 200BBs preflop with 99

Believe it or not, I was very comfortable that this was +EV if called. Thought I might have a little more fold equity though...

This wasn't me, but I did get it all in preflop with AA against him 3 times in the 100 hands. There are some subtleties to the game he is missing, hope he keeps it that way. 14 buyins, and at least half the time he bought in for 5, doubling till bust. Fun.

This is the party $25

On a related note, I hit top set on 3 tables at the exact same time today (I only play 4 tables so that's pretty amazing). WOO HOO. I cbet all 3, and everyone folded.

I did the same, only for 50bb when villain just had to have AA that time (and Q8o all the other times..).

But remember, you're only a slight favourite when ahead:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 47.1462 % 46.92% 00.22% { KsTs }
Hand 2: 52.8538 % 52.63% 00.22% { 9d9s }

So next time, have JJ.

I love seeing those 2k-3k flat and downswings in context. Makes by current 1500-hand flat stretch feel much better.
