If you can how 'bout an Amelie one?

0:08 - 0:11 - skipping stone
0:16 - 0:18 - smirk/shrug/smile
1:41 - 1:45 - puddle

I went looking for the turns-into-a-puddle scene because I thought that would be a great one for an avatar, but now I think that the other two are probably better. I like the skipping stone one quite a bit because of the camera angle shift.

Speaking of good movies, your user id reminded me of another scene that would be a great avatar:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=nfteScRCiMk

0:09 - 0:14 - margot getting off the bus

http://youtube.com/watch?v=OWKcO35aeSM

0:41 - 0:44 - those aren't mine.

And speaking of good avatar candidates..
Immortal Beloved
Gary Oldman placing his head on the piano during Moonlit Sonata
wish I could find this.

Tombstone
http://youtube.com/watch?v=8yDgkvWh3JQ
Doc Holliday walking out of the shadows for the final duel with Johnny Ringo
7:55 - 7:57 - I'm your huckleberry.

Not sure if the speed it what you want.

Actually, could you cut the last part with the hair in her face. Also, could you make the rest of the clip slower but leave the intro still slighty slower than the rest of the clip. Thanks, you da man.

Here's a couple of different speeds. They may be too slow. I can try again if you want, this was was pretty easy

and one without the head turn, in case you wanted that part out too

You can even challenge us to make a certain avatar you have dreamed up.

I'd love to challenge you to make an avatar even better than this:

...but I don't want to ask the impossible of you.

Stuey, I've got a real problem. Due to my crappy tar, too many people are reading the content in my posts and realizing what a moreon I am. Please help distract them!

Your requested bump. I realize that I gave you a great deal of freedom here. I'd rather be patient and let the creative be creative. But if you need more direction, I'll see what I can do.

Thanks again!
