So game 1 is Saturday at 2pm(Im [censored] moving for christs sake....sons of bitches)...

....the real question is who does this favor....Buffalo has Connolly and Kalinin out with significant injuries and gives them time to rest....even though Kalinin will possibly be out longer with the broken foot!!

Saturday at 2? Damn, now I have to decide which is more important, the Sabres or my graduation.

I think we all know the answer to this.

Gamble,
those injuries don't sound to optimistic from what I've heard, although there is no official word yet (when is there ever in hockey?) I dunno if there's an advantage for either team because Cole and what's his name is hurt too.

FWIW - Lindy Ruff is 7-2 in Game 1 road games - not bad.

I'm picking the Sabres in this one (Sens fan; easy for Sabres fans to pick them), simply because I think Miller is a superior goalie. Ward is going to be a very good goalie as well, but he's not there yet, imo. Missing Connolly is pretty big for the Sabres. He's perfect for the NHL as it is now played. He was an awesome college player; skated circles around the competition. This is going to be another very fun series to watch. Now that the Sens are out, I can relax and enjoy hockey again....not that I'm happy.

Another Ottawa resident and fan here. I just want to say that I have a lot of respect for the Sabres after watching that series (and some of round 1). Miller has been excellent, taking nothing away from the rest of the team of course. Best of luck to Buffalo in the 3rd round

You know, maybe that's the problem. Sens fans are too nice. When I went to Buffalo for game 4, People very angrily told me to get out of town and I had my life threatened. Maybe if Sens fans were nastier, the team might take on the persona.
