Prod,

You are clearly responsible, driven, and goal-oriented. All of these are good attributes. However, take the time to enjoy your college experience. Have fun while you are there.

As you get older your responsibilities increase and it gets more difficult. You don't want to look back later and wonder what if.

Have balance in whatever you do. If cards feels like work then spend a bit less time playing poker. Poker will always be here; opportunities to kick back and just have fun will be sparser.

My $.02...

With all respect to LC, who is just a couple years older than me and very attractive (I just saw the pictures thread). Continue to do exactly what you're doing right now Prod. Play poker like a machine (i see you are....11k hands in 3 days wtf???) and put as much distance as you can between you and poverty. Money solves most problems in life if you're not an idiot. More money = more happiness. Take my word for it. I did ok financially from college ---> 35yrs old, but I never had enough to be totally comfortable. Then I discovered poker. I've made a lot. Life has changed. Me and my family are happier and are planning all kinds of wonderful trips/adventures/purchases that we would never have been able to afford otherwise.

Keep grindin, stay in school and maintain the 3.6 gpa.

That is the plan regardless. I would much rather keep scholarship and come out out of college with 400k in savings than party now with no money. I think the parties would be better in Hawaii and Vegas than in kentucky anyways
