Indy the only solution to getting through the variance faster is to play more, not less!

You can't play 5-10 games a day and expect to have a positive week everytime, you won't even have a positive month at times.

Not to be critical, I do the same exact thing, don't play enough.

Yeah, true this. For those of you who know my PS name, look up my last 3 days on SharkScope. 75% bad cards, 25% tilt. It was sick. Variance happens. Take a break, play on.

How many tables can you guys play at NLcash? I can do two, but find my play is much better with just one. I'm only 3k hands into my HU career and just wonder if it's a natural progression of building up more tables, or if most guys stick to one or two.

So today I'm playing PLO and see Maciek Gracz sitting at a $200 HU PLO table. From what I've seen at these stakes he plays a weird LAGtard style and calls down really loose sometimes, so I "take a shot" and sit with him.

I'm up almost a buyin for most of the match (missing a LOT of flops, but hitting just enough to stay up) but then he hits this disgusting run of river cards and within 5 minutes I'm stuck about $250 and he quits me soon after. Great, now I can't leave. Have to chase losses right?

So a few people sit with me, I'm up a bit from my low point but still stuck over a buyin, then the following hand happens against someone who seemed pretty solid: (This may be worse than that KQJT hand I posted a while back >_&lt

Full Tilt Poker
Pot Limit Omaha Ring game

YES HE DOESN'T HAVE HEARTS

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($397, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $397)

River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($397, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $397)

Results:
Final pot: $397

ive been reading this forum for a while now, and noticed a lot of "regulars".

Why not try to set up a HU tournament on stars ?

1) it would be fun and nice to play against people here that u always read their posts and interested in how they actually play.

2) Winner can have bragging rights, maybe custom title , and a nice win $.

The potential problems:

1)Organization : Timing of matches, setting it up etc...

2)the actual buyin : we have alot of different posters that play different levels so im not sure how much a reasonable buyin amount would be.

anyways.. its just a suggestion...

we tried doing this, but it is hard to keep people playing their matches.

But I think a monthly HU mtt would be cool.

Hey Guys,

The LegoPoker Hand History Converter is undergoing a complete re-write and will be available some time early next week with support for SNG hand histories. I know there have been a lot of requests for this and also a lot of people submitting me SNG hands for testing. I have been collecting SNG hands for a while now and am ready to start creating the converter.

I have a few questions I would like this forum to answer:

1. If you could change something about the current SNG HH converters to make them better, what would it be?

2. Do you like the current SNG converter output? Or should I change it in some way? IF so, what would you like to see changed/included that is not right now?

3. Any other comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

Basically, the LegoPoker Converter is attempting to create a converter that will correctly convert EVERY hand history out there, and I thought there would be no-one better to ask than the people that use it most - you guys that play HU SNGs.

Thanks.
