It seems to me that the hippo would have trouble moving without it being semi submerged in water. Would the cats be good swimmers? I attempted to experiment with my wife's cat to see how good of swimmers a cat really is. It took alot to finally find it's limits in abilities to not drown.

Default PLEDGES

I hereby pledge $1,000 to the cause for finding these animals and gladiating them. I vote up front we add a gorilla and eliminate the croc (gorilla vs. grizzly!!!), plus switch the UFC fighter out for the president of PETA. Given the right country, we should be able to arrange local matches for the African animals for under $20,000.

I want my pro rata cut of the tv revenue. But most of all, I wanna see rhino vs tiger. We have confirmation that all North Carolina bookies will - repeat WILL - fade that fight. Starting line is rhino is a 7:1 favorite. Second card is PETA guy vs. a pissed-off raccoon.

Tiger will not make it to second round against rhino. Sorry to those bookies. But they could lay a fat line on tiger and seriously collect when hippo wins. I pledge $250 to this endeavor.

It was not in this thread, but there was a thread before this one where the animals for this bracket were suggested. I believe the first post specified no poisonous animals. Lemme find a link.

Edit: Second post. I believe no one took issue with that and everyone adhered to it.
