My 2-cent: I've never heard of a good buisness that does not refund its unhappy customers (within reason)

Thanks, but what do artificial insemination devices have to do with anything?

Taylor Caby - I took up hard for OP here:

May I please have a free lesson for my good nature? I didn't really get screwed out of any coaching, but I have ALOT of empathy (so maybe I can just get 30 mins of 1-on-1 plz?).

He didn't quit bc he was unhappy with the service, he quit bc he went busto. Try renegotiating a lease, a magazine subscription, an order to a manufacturer etc. half way through because your financial situation changed. If you made a commitment and paid up from then it ain't happening. Personally I would have given an 80% refund or w/e but I think it's easy to see why snow wouldn't, especially if he has been giving the guy tons of attention outside the official hours, something he likely would not have done without the commitment.

Having said that I still think it's shocking that he charged so much over the odds and imposed a draconian level of commitment but OP did walk into that with his eyes open.

TC,

thanks for taking the time to post here.

Quick question. If some 1 buys a CR subsription (not coaching service), pays for 6 months and goes busto so has no need for it after 2 months. Would you refund him for teh other months?

[/ QUOTE ]

if he went busto, honestly, i would refund him for his unused portion (2 months, $50). what use does he have for our service if he can't even play anymore?

we refunded a few people (in full) that were upset that we raised our prices. they thought it wasn't fair and didnt think bringing aba on warranted increased prices. i told them sorry, and gave htem all their money back.

if people were abusing this, we would have to start to change our policy. generally we just try to be reasonable about things and go on a case by case basis with things.

I must say that I did sign up to cardrunners yesterday in large part to Taylor Caby's responses in this thread. He seems like a read stand up guy and someone who would be a pleasure to have any type of business dealings with. I was thinking about getting a cardrunners membership for a while, but I seen how he has acted in this thead, and I must say I have a lot of respect for how he has presented himself, as well as his company, so I decided I should get the membership. Good job and very classy, Taylor!

Ok great, amazing how I managed to completely mess up my thoughts about this...

Anyway, fishsticks feel free to piss of the entire 2p2 community by managing to basically tell them there idiots. It sure would make some nice drama, but I'm refusing to be target practice.
