GG AP! And I'm glad to see MoPete get some minutes

Btw, I didn't get to watch the game but why did Bargnani get so few minutes?

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought he had a terrible game. Bosh had it going and Bargnani took some bad looking shots. Sam nearly lost his mind with him. We need Bargnani to get it going, he's been all but invisible thsese first 2 games.

Parker is the man.

That is all.

Anyone else agree that Calderon should be starting instead of Ford for the playoffs? Ford makes me want to throw my TV out the window when he's on the court. Calderon has been fabulous as he's been all season.

[/ QUOTE ]
Am I the only one who prefers Ford on the court. Such a heads up player, I love Calderon too, but I prefer Ford by an ever so slight margin.

TJ Ford is better than Jose.

But the thing that worries me is that we are still playing bad. We shot <40% from the field today I believe. We got lucky.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think we got lucky, that was a really gritty game. I thought we pretty much outplayed NJ and everytime it looks like we were going to run away with the game Bostjan Nachbar made huge 3's. He's incredible this series.

We had a much different game this time, a lot less turnovers. We went hard and went to the FT line more than NJ. It was a hard fought (but ugly) game.

Without seeing the end of the game, I too would have said that I'd rather have T.J. there at the end of the game. His quickness really is unmatched on the court. Calderon is a good player, don't get me wrong...like the guy above me said, it's a very close margin.
I'd like to see them switch to a zone and have both of them on the court at the same time. NJ really only plays 1 big man at the end of games.

Really ugly game.
TJ > Calderon IMO.
In both games we have been giving up way too many wide open threes.
That being said it's nice to be back to 1-1 and I can't wait to go to Game 5.

I'd like to see that too but Sam has already mentioned during interviews he won't do that for this series. He's going with what got them there.

TJ played well the final quarter but that first half I thought was ugly. I'm just more comfortable with the ball on Calderon's hands during crunch time. I'm always expecting a turnover or a bad possession when Ford is on the court.

Disclaimer: I don't know much about basketball

But just before they took Calderon off, he was taking EVERY shot, and totally dominating the offense. I don't think that is what's best for the Raptors, at all. Bosh is the man, and if anyone on the team should be owning the offense, it's him.

Yeah that was uncharacteristic of Calderon. Usually it's the other way around with TJ ford. I will never let up my undying hate for TJ.
