oreo,

For some reason, I was under the impression you guys were living together. Am I mixing you up with Anacardo's now-shattered dream?

[/ QUOTE ]

Funny you'd mention anacardo's dreams

[ QUOTE ]

All our dreams are like bits of diamond-dust, carelessly gathered, with the sirocco coming in, hot and fierce and desolate. Soon they shall be whipped away, flung skyward to shimmer awhile, a fountainspray of shining light. But, alas; for even in that moment, our diamond-visions will already be half-gone, scattering on the wind to fall in amongst the sand, there to lie among common dust, buried and forgotten.

Weep for us.

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

I feel you should point out that the relevant dream discussed is the dream of tater tots.

Whoever predicted earlier in the thread that the truth was probably somewhere between 4 and 20 texts was a prescient genius. Come claim your trophy up front.

Anacardo was a lot closer with "four" than KK was with "twenty".

Let's seal up a remaining point of controversy.

This is the relevant portion of my wireless records. My text messages are displayed. The 512 is KK. The 903 is my mother. The 770 is 'T0ne. This would be the disputed '20 texts without answer' evening in question, the Saturday I got wasted at the Rio.

That first block of four is me AT the Rio, talking to KK about coming to pick me up.

The relevant "drunk-dialing" portion, as you can see, consists of two (2) texts, one of which was responded to; I have that response saved in my phone.

Then there's a couple more the next afternoon when I needed to go to the airport and she was nowhere to be found. Reiterating: Texting was the only (semi)reliable way to get ahold of her.

That's it. There's your "flood of texts." How do you respond to this, Schneids, having "been there" and all?

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, here comes Exhibit A of the evidence. I feel like I'm watching Law and Order.

Cross-examination!

Hell yes he was. Now it seems more like we have a fickle girl who just got freaked out by some innocuous text messages and wanted to get away ASAP.

I'd be inclined to call this a wrap.

OOT was entertained, trains were wrecked, and the truth did out.

Anacardo vindicated. W00t.

***QUICK NOTE***

I've been putting together a mixtape for the occasion. I call it "Slander," and it consists of creepy, lunatic-stalker-type tunes. It's a pretty awesome mix, being tuneful and listenable.

CURRENT LIST (no order)

Toadies - Tyler
Radiohead - Creep (Tough choice between this and Climbing Up The Walls)
The Beatles - Helter Skelter
The Rolling Stones - Paint it Black
The Police - Every Breath you Take
Sarah McLachlan - Possession
Bruce Springsteen - Downbound Train (Nebraska outtake version)
Joy Division - Dead Souls
The Smiths - Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want
Ice-T - Pulse of the Rhyme

Any further suggestions? This is turning into a really good mixtape.
