It seems like they are getting into a wordsmithing match. I guess technically they aren't taking any more rake. They are simply also taking 50 cents that isn't rake, it is tournament seed money.

The reality is this promotion is +EV (perhaps by a LOT) if you play all the freerolls (which others certainly won't)

Whether or not they are taking [censored], you LOSE an extra 50 cents of rake regardless of where it goes. Damn, I havne't played there in a month, and their customer service is still indirectly pissing me off with their inability to come to a common sense realization.

Again, the money isn't going into Dikshit's checking account. It goes towards the BBJ (EV neutral -- NL players are a little worse off), and towards these promotions (EV+ if you play them and play well)

This "giving it back" stuff is BULLCRAP.

Taking small to medium to large amounts from many many many different players and distributing that money in HUGE lump sums to a handful of individuals does not benefit anyone other than that handful of individuals.

This would be like the government taxing everyone in America $500 extra, then giving all that money to a single person and then claiming TECHNICALLY they didn't raise taxes because they gave it back to the "people."
