I just woke up (stupid alarm clock..), and in the first two pages there are only five OT/LC posts. One of them is about eastbay's HU lesson, and the other is about books that help with STTs. So there are really only three OT/LC posts in the first 40 posts.

So maybe you high limit dudes should start posting finally instead of whining.

while this is a valid point, go ahead and scroll through there again and tell me how many of those 40 would be of use to somebody trying to improve their game at the $109+ level

not many

[/ QUOTE ]

And how many of those are posted by players at the $109+ level? If you guys want to discuss hands then you need to post hands . . . good hands, not like that KK crap you posted last night.

and the one $215 hand on the front page is as rudimentary as any lower buyin post.

(no offense to the poster - it wasn't a bad post or anything - just that it was about calling an allin HU)

So what you're saying is that because none of the high stakes posters post hands, they deserve their own forum?

Come on man. The "if you build it" argument is total BS.

So would splitting the forum mean no more silly or OT posts? Or just none of those in high stakes? So silly the lowstakes and serious the highstakes? But when most of the highstakes players are silly?

Ok reread op's post, all the silly stuff goes in the lowstakes and all the "serious poker knowledge exchange" goes in the high one. Gotcha. I know where I'll be posting my hands. Any rules about disguising a 55 as a 109 to get serious opinions? I wonder how silly that'd be...

It seems presumptious to me for people, who admittedly don't post much here, to demand how the forum should be run.

I definitely think they ought to be split.

I could read the high limit one to learn how to play poker, and the low limit one to goof around and read about Yugo.

forumbot is a high buyin player.

Yugo seems to play a lot of different buyins. I'm pretty sure he plays at least up to $215s sometimes.

You might miss the Yugo action if you read the low buyin forum.

there was a vote and most of us apparently think that the forum should be split. it isn't even very close. you guys are posting as if ZJ and Degen are the only ones that want the split

There have been what, 500 replies to this poll? I am more concerned about the people actually caring enough to reply to this thread and post in the forum than 450 lurkers.

So what you're saying is that this forum should be split into an STT forum and OOT? This offends me slightly.
