X, Your punter is awesome. He was probably the 2nd best I've come into the dome this year (the bills punter had a sick game against us.) Punting is much more impressive live than on TV and when a guy booms one you notice. gl in the offseason and hopefully we'll at least beat all your AFC west mates next season. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I was hoping DC would get a bid to the pro bowl but the Bills punter is awesome too. I hope you guys do well the rest of the playoffs. Good luck. |

Also to add that that punt you guys are talking about from DC was 66 yards. He had an avg. of over 52 yards. He kept us in the game lol.

As a colts fan I predict this will be a very painful game to watch. [/ QUOTE ] Nice call. You sir, win $20 on PS if you PM me your SN. God that sucked. Chiefs = worst offensive perrfomance in the history of playoff football, surpassing even the Patriots in the SB with the Bears. Ugh. How much money could I have made betting that LJ would have his worst game as a pro today??? Haven't read the rest of the thread, gotta run. Noodleman I owe you a dance and a drink. May I suggest square dancing? |

Peyton threw several passes that were just amazing and lots of regular ones, and a small handful of bad ones. He may have looked like he was struggling because the Chiefs were playing prevent defense the whole time. If an average QB has 38 attempts he'll usually have 5-10 really bad passes and 1-2 picks, there's a huge random factor in whether a "bad pass" turns into a pick or not, and when it's just an incompletion nobody talks about it. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, it's the fact that those "few bad passes" could have (and against a better team would have) lost the game which causes me to say that he had a terrible game. However it's nice that as you point out he: 1. Had a really good completion rate on those short passes. 2. Only played slightly worse than an average QB with similar passes thrown. J |

You see the thing is with Peyton Manning is his contribution can not be seen in just the numbers. I know he threw 3 picks, but you have to look at his stunning capability to lead. He's a proven winner and that can not be argued. You pure stat heads can't see how much of an impact a player like peyton manning has in just "DPVARPMP" or some bull [censored] stat like that. All he does is win. I'll take a winner like manning on my team over some loser with crazy numbers. Just my two cents. Did I mention that he just wins?
