I hear ya, I played a $5, 225 player MTT on FT the other day and finished 21st for like $6 and change. What a waste.

over 28K hands I am a net loser with one pair...is this standard or should I tone down on showdown???

I have no idea and not enough brain capacity to deduct this info myself.

Everlong,

First, check "Include only hands that were not folded" and see how that looks. Then look at your net with each pair rank, some other tab in PT (forget which, at work now). If you find specific pairs you lost a lot on, look at hands, post a couple.

Does it help if you click the "Show Only Hands That Were Not Folded"? (I have a net loss on One Pair hands, too, but it makes sense to me. One pair isn't that great a hand.)

Oh...thanks. That made a world of difference. I feel stupid for being a total n00b with PT. Should probably spend some time actually taking a closer look. It's not like I give up any +Ev by not playing [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

PT is pure gold, and Pokey's post on how to use it well (Pooh-Bah posts in SSNL sticky, I think) is likewise pure gold. It's an amazing crash course all in one post.
