Apocalypse Now was filmed after Star Wars was released. I think Ford was a little famous at that point.

Apocalypse Now was filmed at roughly the same time. It took a crazy long time for the movie to be made and released, Coppolla spent 3 years editing. Check imdb for some other crazy triva. Apolcalypse Now Triva
