Oh well, I took a shot at 10/20.
Set over set a couple of times, second best hands, a little tilt, a horrible bluff. -9k, back to 5/10 Sweet |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I need to sack up and start 6-8 tabling NL 200. I have this fear of having a 5 buyin downswing and I cannot mentally handle it. That being said I read these forums a ton and really think I can beat the game. I've never been one to 6+ table (usually 2-4 table) but i think I might venture into that. [/ QUOTE ] 4-tabling is soo boring (usually). To keep focus (especially when you're a little card-dead), you want to be at least 5-tabling. 6-tabling seems like a pretty optimal amount to me. However, I noticed that I've tightened up a lot when I 6-table. And since my opponents never adjust, it seems pretty profitable. [/ QUOTE ] Can I ask what your set up is? I have a standard Dell labtop and the stars resizeable tables only fit 4 on my screen. Im not sure how to 6-8 table with my setup and buying an extra monitor, etc. is out at this point. [/ QUOTE ] 21 inch, baby. ![]() Yeah, that's what I'm sitting behind right now and it's a sweet, sweet screen (running 1940x1400@85hz and all..). However, it's my sister's screen (I'm watching her house while she's on vacation). I got it for her 2nd handed dirt cheap. Like $80. My own screen is a 19" CRT, where I can get up to 1600x1200, with a sharp image with good refresh rate. And I play at pokerroom and they don't have resizable tables!!. So I'll probably swap the monitors anyway. |
