k, I want to get out of the frustrating rut @50NL, so I'm going to have some fun at the 10NL tables tonight. Might put together a small trip report. Wish me luck in the land where they don't respect my raises.

[/ QUOTE ]

dude try playing some really low limit plomaha or something, its really good to play another kind of game just to have a little fun

[/ QUOTE ]
NL is fun! But seriously, last time I played PLO8 at baby stakes and it was either boring (wait for the nuts, pot, pot, pot, profit), or tilting (when you didn't wait for premium hands).
But I had some nice solid fun at 10NL, nothing spectacular, though. Won like a $1 plus some change playing like an idiot. Made more in RB actually.

To the guys out there struggling beating 10NL: The game is very, very beatable. Play tight, play aggressive. Do not bluff. Do not fire two barrels without a very good read.
Just pay a bit attention to what villains are telling you. You can read them like open books, and what's even better, you can make them do anything that you want them to. Well maybe not anything (they don't like to fold), but you get what I mean.
Two pieces of advice:
1) If villain bets into a field from OOP he will have a strong hand. If you suspect your hand is stronger, do not fear to lose him by raising, he will call or even shove. In fact, you'll probably still get callers behind on the weirdest draws you could imagine.
This also implies that you should not try to make him lay down the hand with a semi-bluff. Just don't do it.

2) Do not pay off the goofs that chase any draw. They will chase with the worst odds, so charge them. But if the draw comes in, don't even think of paying him off. This will mean that you will get bluffed out of the pot at times, but don't take it personal. Someone once said, that if you never get bluffed out of a pot, you're playing sub-optimal.

End of broadcast.

Heh ... figured that you where that bloke, mainly 'cause he was the only one I noticed

But I am looking forward to playing some more with you (on a different note, didn't you once state that you avoided me and Kolo having no intention of playing back at us ??)
