Pennington played well, but it's gotta be Clemens now. Yes Chad is a better QB than Clemens at this point, but after losing to the f'n Buffalo Bills starting their QB2, it's time to look for the future and hopefully draft Glenn Dorsey or Chris Long.
This team needs a gun slinger, not a game manager. I'm tired of the 4 yard dump offs to Leon.

Please. 90% of those catches were due to amazing hands of Coles/Cotch/everyone else. He threw too high, too low, too far in advanced, behind. Recievers were going up to places they shouldn't have to go in order to bring the ball down. We're lucky as hell no one is seriously injured now with all the hard hits they get.

I think Chad is a good player, but if the Jets want to move foward, we HAVE to give Clemens some playing time.

he did throw a couple ducks but i still think pennington is our best option to win, clemens was really raw in his first game, i dont think any of you realized he had no idea how to read some pretty obvious blitzes against the ravens, he got hit twice in that game where he had no idea the hit was coming, even tho the hits didnt come from the blindside.

but again the changes here need to be made on defense not offense, altho the play calling could be a little more aggressive. defense played the run fairly well today, but how a rookie qb in his first game was able to shred the defense is just unacceptable.

A rookie shredding the defense is very unacceptable, but so is scoring 14 points against a bad defense. This game was a shock, how the Jets did not roll in this game is beyond me. The defense needs work but IMO the loss goes on the shoulders of the offense. Pennington made some good throws, made some bad throws, but bottom line, this team needs someone who can spread the defense, and Chad is not that.
Here's 3 plays that went on in the last drive, when we had 1 TO left.

1st-10, NYJ37 1:23 C. Pennington passed to L. Washington to the right for 4 yard gain
2nd-6, NYJ41 1:02 C. Pennington passed to L. Coles to the left for 2 yard gain
3rd-4, NYJ43 0:37 C. Pennington passed to L. Washington to the left for 1 yard gain


This is in the last 2 minutes of the game, we badly need a score, and we gain 7 yds in almost a minute. This is a joke, we need our QB to get it down the field, and fast! Sigh...I think we've seen the best of Chad Pennington already, and with this defense, and this O-Line, the Jets have no shot at a winning record. Yeah it's only week 4, but we just lost to the Buffalo freaking Bills!
