Damn, I was hoping Matusow would make the final table.

A FT of Fossilman, Barry, Deeb, Kaplan, Phan, Tomko, Singer and X would be good to watch.

(Omaha 8 or Better) On a board of {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, Dewey Tomko is betting the entire way, with Amnon Filippi calling behind. Tomko shows A-4-4-X to scoop the pot with a pair of fours for the high, and A-4 for the nut low.

LOL Donkaments!!?

[/ QUOTE ]

Filippi probably had A-2-5-paint or A-5-paint-paint, with or without a flush draw. Not terrible, except when you consider he's playing against a known tight player.

looks right on track to me, they started on about level 44, they will probably play to level 58 or so. That is a good 8 hours of play time.

Seat 7 - Mike Matusow - 75,000

Yikes!!!

I think Matusow had some prop bet regarding making it into the money, which presumably involves more than 80k.

Mike Matusow
(Omaha 8 or Better) Chris Reslock has the button in seat 1, and Matusow raises to 50,000, winning the blinds.

[/ QUOTE ]
Matusow's running them over with his short stack! Go Mikey!

Edit: Damn, I thought he was gonna take this down.

From Pokernews.com:

Mike Matusow Eliminated in 16th Place ($88,800)
(Omaha 8 or Better) Amnon Filippi has the button in seat 2, Wolff limps for 25,000, Matusow raises to 50,000, and Wolff calls. The flop comes 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Wolff bets 25,000, Matusow moves all in for 50,000, and Wolff calls with A-Q-6-3 -- a wheel (five-high) straight for the high and the low. Matusow shows A-Q-9-2, and he's drawing very thin, needing a three to chop the pot with a wheel, or running spades for a flush.

The turn card is the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], giving Matusow two pair, aces and deuces, and additional outs to a full house. The river card is the 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and Wolff scoops the pot with a wheel.

Mike Matusow is eliminated in 16th place, earning $88,800.
