I value the community of players the STT forum has become. Irieguy, thanks for giving me an oppurtunity to meet many of the players, your hard work obviously isn't forgotten. As a result of my exposure to this community I’ve forged friendships with Tiger, Unarmed, Raptor, Beef, Degen and others and chat with many daily.

This forum does have too much OT chat and this should be addressed. One solution is creating ONE thread dedicated to all OT posts in STT. Although, this is not an efficient solution for those posts, it will allow strategy threads to flow. If ZJ wants to post after these changes are made great, hopefully Jman will join him. In any event, I'll read all of the achieves of posters whom I value.

I just woke up (stupid alarm clock..), and in the first two pages there are only five OT/LC posts. One of them is about eastbay's HU lesson, and the other is about books that help with STTs. So there are really only three OT/LC posts in the first 40 posts.

So maybe you high limit dudes should start posting finally instead of whining.

i dont think its a good idea, b/c the low stakes players want to see what the high stakes players think...i dont post here to have someone that knows less then i do to tell me what i did wrong.
I normally only listen what respected posters say, if we split the forums then im sure the majority of them wont post in the low stakes.

then this would lead to the low stakes players posting in the high stakes for advice..and possibly lying about the buyin to get away with it.

while this is a valid point, go ahead and scroll through there again and tell me how many of those 40 would be of use to somebody trying to improve their game at the $109+ level

Just depends on how good they are. There are lots of players at the $109s and $215s that could learn a lot from those posts. Maybe that's a secret or something, but there are lots of crappy players at those levels. Also, there are lots of posters here in the $33s and below that don't have anything to learn from those posts.

Also, perg, I know you know this, but higher limit players are not united here, nor are lower limit players.

btw of the first 30 posts it seems like half of them are OT and silly (at least in my opinion). Every day that I think about, the more I really like the idea of splitting the forum.
