Sam and Roland, thanks for your help yet again and once I get this working I'll be sure to donate something to the cause!
OK the problem I have again is that I can only open 4 tables even when I'm logged in at party. see: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...8465&page= In answering Sam's questions I'm not using multiple accounts. I rebooted and still have the same problem. Also, when I right click in the tray I don't have a submenu opening that lists my computer name. |

Please get the latest version if you haven't yet (if you hover over the try icon you'll see a tooltip with the version info - latest is 2.09) and send Sam or me a log. There's nothing much we can do without that info, really. Thanks.

Also, when I right click in the tray I don't have a submenu opening that lists my computer name. [/ QUOTE ]This (quoted) is the funkiest part, and likely the culprit. You're using the most recent version, right? It should say "v2.09" at the start of the script. When you right click on the tray icon, what DOES happen? What menu DO you see? -Sam |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, apparently he was confused as to the version... we cleared that up, now it's working fine for him. To anyone listening: You can always check which version you are using by hovering over the tray icon. |

i experienced a similar problem to otter's a couple of times as well---with only 4 tables openning.
i was able to resolve it by closing and restarting autohotkey a couple of times. also, i found that i needed to make sure to start iWitness first with the lobby i am logged into otherwise it would only open 4 tables rather than the full ten (i.e., ensure iWitness "client 1" is associated with the party lobby you are logged into). i realize otter's problem is likely more complex than this---hey , you never know. cheers and keep up the great work roland and sam, sean |

Could someone tell me which folder is the networking folder? [/ QUOTE ]It can be any folder you like. Just make it one accessible by all clients. So, if all your clients have access to c:\iWitness\, that'd work fine. -Sam edit: note that if you're only use 1 client, don't worry about it. Put it anywhere you like. |

[/ QUOTE ] Sean, This was the way we handles things in earlier versions (i.e. "Client 1" was the only client you could log in on). This is no longer the case, which makes me think you don't have version 2.09 yet. Because now you can decide on which accounts you want to log in (Tray menu -> Login on... -> Username). If you do have the latest version, please send me a log. |
