Driving 30+ minutes in beautiful weather only to have rain start pelting my windshield as I turn into the golf course.

60+53=113 in the rain which started 4seconds before got to first tee....nothing much to discuss on this round

Sunday
52+56=108

missed 2 long birdie putts and 3 par putts, only had 1 par, and a nice bogey on a par 5, when I had to take a drop for putting it into the woods...

Hit my friends Hybrid for bug chunk of the day and it pretty much guarantees I will be purchasing one immediately...didnt hit a 3-5 iron all day as the Hybrid was hitting beautifully and more so comfortably...

....best feeling round of the year, putting fell apart a little or woulda been under 100 for 1st time in a long time

Playing much better. Putting a disaster, but hitting lots of fairways. Midiron game still disturbingly and uncharacteristically inconsistent.

50-47-97. Short approach shots were awful.

41-46=87 on East Potomac Blue, another sh*tty muni in DC. They absolutely destroyed their greens by using the wrong chemical application to treat them, so I'm actually happy taking "only" 35 putts, as it was impossible to get a true roll and the greens varied greatly from hole to hole. The only disappointment on today's round, a personal best, is that I had four doubles on the last five holes, including my only two three-putts of the day on 16 and 17. I'm also getting even less distance off the tee than I usually do.

What a surprise shot another 117. Oh well.. what can I expect when I reach a 500 yard green in 2 after a 300 yd monster drive followed by a perfect 3 iron only to 5 putt for a double bogey 7?

55 + 52 = 107. My short game's back, however somehow I lost my iron game.

81 yesterday, 79 today. Scraped it around, managed to make only one double bogey for the weekend. Only had one birdie, though.

Shot even par for 18 holes for the first time this morning.

18 is a par-5 and I was left with about 135 from the middle of the fairway. Hard 9 or easy 8. Hmmmm. How about easy 8 fatted about 90 yards. Finished with bogey for an even par 71. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img].

I was two under par through five holes, bogeyed six, then eleven consecutive pars until I choked.
