dan b, dont forget

1) that you told us that "its pretty obv that snowbank is in the right and OP in the wrong."

2) you then signed up to freelancer's mob rant.

neither of these is part of the "if every1 saw it like thatconsensus". and for the record i believe you are wrong on both counts.

1) I already said it was my personal rant and I have no intention on changing the forum, its fine as it is. More of a observation than anything else.
2) No need to suddenly point all the guns at me, if you disagree with me fine I'm ok with that. Calling me a idiot and generally being an ass isn't asked for. I already apoligized for the tone of my posts. No need to bash me any further, this is not bbv...
3) Stop the snowbank bashing already, its clear he made a mistake. I agree he should've refunded the money, I would've refunded the money personally but thats besides the point. After he makes the decesion not to refund he didn't do anything wrong, but everyone still feels the need to drag his name through the mud.
4) Can a mod please do there job and close this thread. It has long served its purpose and everyone has made there point. OP isn't getting his money back, tough luck for him. Snowbank should've refunded, but refuses. He doesn't HAVE to refund however so why does this thread still exist? Perhaps move it to bbv if everyone feels the need to make a huge drama out of this.

@taylorgaby Well that raises the question how usefull creating this thread was in OP's quest to get back his money, I'd say its turned out to be a total waste of time that basically hurt a good coach his name. In fact I wouldn't really be suprised if OP's only purpose was trying to take revenge on snowbank, I doubt he ever really believed he would see his money back (this was made very clear by snowbank). There are more classy ways to handle this than go for a all out assault...

Wether I am right or wrong regarding the mob mentality, meh I don't want to discuss this anymore. Almost everyone here seems to disagree with me in that matter, however I do have to admit I was wrong in posting it in this thread and the tone of the post. So once again I apologize for posting this in the wrong thread...

Jezus I can't believe how much fuss this is creating, feels like the entire community is suddenly on a path of war (and yes I haven't exactly behaved amazing either I realize) not exactly flattering for such a large and mostly respected community as a whole.

Edited to add;
I understand WHY OP is posting this here, however I don't like the tone of his post. I get the feeling he's deliberately trying to damage snowbanks name and that his main goal is not getting back his money but more of a sentiment 'if I go down, we both go down'.

FWIW, last night snowbank IMed me and apologized. We did an hour session and it went very well. He was very engaged in the coaching, and had a lot of great info to give.

Carry on.

That is worth something IMO. Doesn't undo the past, but it's definitely positive to hear that.

I'm in favor of a lock at this point, as I think the issue has pretty much played out and everything that could be said has been said. The thread has served its purpose. I find myself checking this thread relentlessly and pretty much just looking for a new fight, so, meh.

He sounds like a piece of [censored]. If you don't want to show any interest in helping your students, don't coach!

you lose credibility saying things like this.

an all out assault it wasn't; coach gave my business as an example to OP and OP was asking me why my business wouldn't refund people.

i would have no reason to even weigh in if not for that reason. i probably wouldn't have even seen the thread if OP didn't ask me to take a look at it.

Haha, I get a feeling your not the only one looking for a fight.

To be honest I was also looking for a fight with the 'hord mentality' post, just didn't realize it at the time (pretty pissed of at a few life things and read this thread and somehow got the wack idea to write that post)...

christ, have you even given any thought to this? (i'm questioning snowbank's motives as well).

okay, you can choose to repay, keep good rep of being an honest/good person/coach, or you can tarnish your rep by being a prick about $450, along with opening a whole slew of disatisfied customers. (which will lead to a loss of customers).

Let say police says you have committed a murder. If you confess you will spend 4 years in prison. If not you will be there for the rest of your life.Well I choose B.
