Ugh. Well great play from the PGs but no one else.

I don't get why Graham was getting so much time. He was playing lazy on both ends and shouldn't be in the game.

Luckily the raps won't shoot this badly for the whole series, so I still think they will take the series pretty handily.

In the second half they shot 75% from 3pt, that's the only reason they were still in the game.

They played horribly.
Graham shouldn't have gotten so many minutes.
TJ should have got more playing time at the end.
It's just one game and a 4 point loss playing horribly isn't the end of the world.

I don't understand this either. He clearly was having an off night. Sam could've given more time to Mopete who had more playoff experience in.

bah, Ford is having a great game...

[/ QUOTE ]

He's gotta do a better job of running the offense and getting people involved, especially when Bosh is off the floor. Too many pull-up jumpers without even trying to run anything. Had more TO's than assists in the game. His scoring was there, but I think he got stapled to the bench in part because Calderon had 8 assists in 21 minutes.

Graham was awful, didn't do anything, horrible D on Jefferson, especially in transition. I agree with the lazy take on him, he wasn't there.

Raps could have had this one, oh well on to game 2...

I thought the Raps were really pumped for the series and played great until Bosh got his second foul so early. He had to leave and the wheels fell off. They had their opportunities twice to climb back.

it's not the end of the world but it's worrying losing to the nets when Carter plays horribly and no one else is having a monster game.

QFT. This game left me a little worried. You gotta know that Carter is gonna have a couple of dominant games.

on the flip side Bosh shouldn't be this bad in Game 2, especially down the stretch.. Nets executed better down the stretch, I'm not going to talk about the officiating because we had our chances.

Graham needs to go though, Mitchell was visibly frustrated with him all game but didn't shake things up.. he took his eye off the ball twice and turned it over down on 2 big possessions in the 4th.. with playoff basketball you can't waste possessions.. FT shooting also came back to haunt us

All things considered I still think we can take the series and I don't see anything special from the Nets, it's more what we did wrong then what they did right, although they played better overall.

I expect a better effort in Game 2 and a win for the Raptors to knot it up at 1-1

Is is it just weird to me that Graham played so much (35min), that Humphries was in at the end in crunch time (24min), that Rasho only played 19 minutes and that MoPete only played 7 minutes, although that was expected given precedent?

Also, it seems that out of timeouts, Mitchell's go to play is to let Ford dribble it out and hoist up a contested 20 footer.

One good thing about Mitchell lately, though: "It's like a divorce."
