Default At some point does he ever consider what I have?

AKA FUN WITH MINBETTING

$50 poker Stars.
we both have approx full stacks.

Bunch o limpers. I limp on button with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Flop- (approx $3 in pot) K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checks to me. I take a free card.

Turn- 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

MP player bets $1 (into $3 pot). I raise it to $4 (he's gonna fold?). He reraises to $8. (fun) I raise it up to $25. He calls.

River... complete blank.
He bets $10.... I look to make sure I'm not missing something... nope straight flush possible, no boat... I push, he calls.

Villain shows K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Yaaah!

I can't help but wonder... would the stacks ever be deep enough where'd he'd consider that he's beat?

I don't know I saw some guy stack off 200BB with pocket 66 to the only other big stack at the table who had a set. Nothing is impossible. This was at NL10 though.

Default Re: *** Official February Grindhouse Thread***

last night at The Orleans this Italian guy (as in guy from Italy) went on the biggest rush I have ever seen at the poker table. He played EVERY hand for three hours and I swear he won at least 66% of them. He sat down directly to my right with $100 - three hours later he had over $2400. He busted everyone at the table at least once, including me - I was salivating getting into a big pot with him when I picked up AA. He raised to $10 (like he did EVERY hand pre-flop) and I popped it to $50. He called, an Ace hit the flop, he potted it, I pushed, he called - and turns over A4. He then goes runner-runner to hit the wheel. ARGGGGH!

Anyway, it got to the point where he was showing me his cards pre-flop and I STILL couldn't beat him! One time he shows me 64 and raises it $10. I'm on the button with J9s and pop it to $30 to isolate him. The blinds fold and he calls. Flop comes J53...he pots it...I call to see a safe turn and another J hits. He pots it again, I push, he calls...and of course he hits a 7 on the river. :-/

I think it's time to call it quits when you know what your opponent has and he still stacks you. Amazing.

Yeah but he had nothing left behind so it didn't really leave him in a difficult spot.
