[ QUOTE ] Uh card counting is cheating now? [/ QUOTE ] You could interpret it that way. The house will not allow card counters to play at their tables. So, it's against the rules of the house. It's just not illegal or punishable in anyway other than the house refusing to take the player's action. [/ QUOTE ] A casino will never bar anyone for the stated reason of counting cards. The casino just says, "You're too good for us," or "Your business is not welcome here." They never say it's because of counting, and counting is never prohibited according to any publicly stated casino rule. If the casino says, "You're counting," it's too easy to counter, "No I'm not." In any event, counting is not cheating. Edit: What Daliman said. |

I saw that Juanda is eliminated. I predicted him at least at the final table:
Hellmuth Eliminates Juanda in Gigantic Hand STUD With very heavy betting after the first three cards, John Juanda and Phil Hellmuth end up all in on fourth street, with Minh Ly and Neal Friets also in the pot. Minh Ly bets Friets off his hand on fifth street, and after al the cards come down, the hands look as such: Juanda: Qd 9h 10c Qc (Qh 9d Jc,) for queens full of nines. Hellmuth: As Js 6h Ah (Kc Ks Ad,) for aces full of kings. Ly: 2d 5c 7d 2s (6s 7s 3d,) for a 23567 low. Juanda is eliminated with a lower full house than Hellmuth's and no low, and Ly takes down the other half of the pot. |
