I find great joy in staking good microstakes players...... i've done it 4-5 times and had success all but once, I obviously would need to look at pt stats and stuff first, but with winning players its a pretty sound investment and works out well for both parties.

the way it works, if you lose I lose, you owe me nothing, If you lose the entire initial stake then at that point I can either end the staking agreement or give you more $ and you are required to play until you pay what you lost back. If you lost 5k at 200nl or 100nl I would be very worried.

If you win, then we decide at a point where you have enough monies to play that limit comforatably on your own, I would think about 50 buyins at nl100 before a move to nl200 and then another 50 buyins at 200nl would be a good stopping point
50x100=5k
50x200=10k
I make 3.5k, at the end you have a roll of 11.5k and will be able to get there much more quickly then starting at $820, we could make a 2+2 thread with your progress, would be fun.... if you play enough would only take 2-3 months, and if you have a job, no need to take $ out of poker, all hands would have to be pt'd but im sure you do that anyways.

basically it allows you to play much higher and I think if you run ~5bb/100 at nl50 and nl100 then you can easily beat nl200, i think the switch from nl200-nl400 is by far the hardest and then again from nl400 to nl600. but we are talking about nl200 here. what site do you play at?

I resent that negative implication about rap music.

haha I like rap, I pretty much like anything really. But hearing NWA and dre beats behind some guy telling me to stay sober just doesn't make any sense.

I meant Gelford's "lyrics."

gelford, how far away from 20k are you? i'd be interested in staking you 5k (1/4)(possibly more if you need it), for 20% of profits, of course i've never seen you play but people seem to have a lot of faith in you.

[/ QUOTE ]

A staking ??? ... how does that work on the losses side ??

I am very far from 20K ... I cashed out so I have next months rent and expenses covered, thus never having to cash out again (I am garanteed an income even without a job a month from now solely because I've finished my grade, that is how the system works here) ... so right now I am starting from 500$ .. and roll stands currently at 820$ .. impressive isn't it

[/ QUOTE ]

Who woulda thought I had the same roll about as Gelford at the moment? I also cashed out almost 4 times as much as I have in my BR now in the past few weeks... don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but when I'm cashing it out at the time I think its a good thing that my good run can't be diminished by a bad run if I continue to practice bankroll management as I have for the past 3 years online and never gone busto since or deposited.

PS: Lol @ street respect to Vyse, Vyse is our next closet thing to Tupac or Biggie we got :P

Edit: Just saw Vyse's responses to a post about rap lyrics only further proving that Vyse is our forums street balla, low stakes shot taker, holla.

I would be interested in taking 50% of this

[/ QUOTE ]

50% of the 5k or 50% of the total staking ie 10k?

My name is Vyse out of habit, since I've always gone as that moniker for the past... six years or so, whenever Skies of Arcadia came out.
