I'd generally agree with you, but in this situation I'd call in relatively short order (tonight or tomorrow), before she knows what hit her. Online's different that real-life in the respect that the more time they have to think about "wtf am I thinking, I've never met this dude" is different than the growing-allure of someone you've met but who hasn't called you yet.

I'd agree with that...I thought you were advocating a similar several-days wait that many do with a girl from a bar, which I think here would likely lead to death on the vine.

Afternoon call to someone you don't know personally is almost never a good idea anyway, imo. It's just weird.

Although for hilarity's sake a call *IMMEDIATELY* following receiving the number would have been fantastic.

Phone call: 12:03.

Text message telling her he loves her: 12:04.

Myspace message asking why she hasn't gotten back to him, 12:05.

Umm, thanks for being considerate of the working thing, but I make really creative cardboard signs for homeless people to hold up. It is amazing what a sharpie and pristine brown can become. Maybe youve seen my work "please help, family killed by ninjas" or "homeless, spare change or health care".

I will be dumpster diving this afternoon for corrugated products, so tomorrow or thursday is cool.
