vehn is getting laid, vehn is getting laid, vehn is getting laid.
venh was definitely singing this song in his head after he saw that message. Nice work! You may have single-handely brought this thread back to life. The wheels are spinning for the super trainwreck when you bring her home to meet the ex-wifey! |

When this thread gets over 100,000 views is it going to screw with the "Views" column on the OOT front page?

whoah whoah when did you get the number? let's not rush the call bro. Remember you are highly susceptible to freshly single guy needy syndrom. [/ QUOTE ] I'd generally agree with you, but in this situation I'd call in relatively short order (tonight or tomorrow), before she knows what hit her. Online's different that real-life in the respect that the more time they have to think about "wtf am I thinking, I've never met this dude" is different than the growing-allure of someone you've met but who hasn't called you yet. At any rate, good luck Vehn; I hope I helped play a small part in attaining of the poonanah. Yes, that's right, I said poonanah. Wouldn't you want to take the advice of someone who says poonanah? It communicates refined class. "You know, it's phrases like 'sloppy seconds' that make her out of your league." -bb. |

ya I'm cool with calling tonight or tomorrow no problem I meant I don't think he should be calling basically right after getting the number. An evening call would be fine but early/ mid afternoon = too eager IMO

i like a call tonight. this is a myspace hookup afterall. let's get beyond the pretenses - they are both looking for some action here and are both clearly eager. he could call right after and i don't think it makes difference.

An evening call would be fine but early/ mid afternoon = too eager IMO [/ QUOTE ] I'd agree with that...I thought you were advocating a similar several-days wait that many do with a girl from a bar, which I think here would likely lead to death on the vine. Afternoon call to someone you don't know personally is almost never a good idea anyway, imo. It's just weird. Although for hilarity's sake a call *IMMEDIATELY* following receiving the number would have been fantastic. Message with number received: 12:02pm. Phone call: 12:03. Text message telling her he loves her: 12:04. Myspace message asking why she hasn't gotten back to him, 12:05. Text message asking what happened, everything was going so good, what happened to our love: 12:05:30. Somewhat menacing text message with attached photo of his wang: 12:06. etc. -bb. |

Umm, thanks for being considerate of the working thing, but I make really creative cardboard signs for homeless people to hold up. It is amazing what a sharpie and pristine brown can become. Maybe youve seen my work "please help, family killed by ninjas" or "homeless, spare change or health care".
I will be dumpster diving this afternoon for corrugated products, so tomorrow or thursday is cool. ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Date: Jul 11, 2006 10:49 AM What's the best time to call? I don't want to disturb you at work, or feeding time as the case may be. -- updates tomorrow I guess |
