Hey Bob,
I'm with you, I am just about to deposit...should I wait or just do it? I read back in this thread and even assuming the 20% bonus is still good, there is no code...(someone said earlier) ... |

I just did it anyway and got no bonus.
Nothing mentioned anymore on their promotions page about it...whereas before there was a link for a bonus. I'm just assuming it got removed. If there really still is a bonus then I just cost myself $100 I guess. Except for the fact that it might have been an MGR thing anyway...and the fact that I will probably make $100 playing the tables more quickly than waiting it out for someone to come up with the magical bonus-code (that probably doesn't exist anymore). |

I asked their live support chat person, which actually works btw, saying I didnt want to find out later i missed out on something. They said there are no bonuses currently.

I found the 'rake structure' but can't find any info on their site about how they are calculating RB (dealt-hands or contributed-rake or whatever).
Anyone offer a link to wherever on the site this information is located? |

for anyone wondering i played around an hour and a half today. three 2/4 shorthanded tables and made around $100 in rake.
if they allow to open more than three tables i would never have to work again. |

This is my read on what MIGHT be happening (hopefully):
This is WSEX's having a serious run at the American Gov't. With the US Gov't failing to abide by the WTO ruling (to pass permissive laws in time, the deadline only JUST having expired) the US is exposed to further legal action. I think WSEX is deliberately initiating a campaign to attract American players, with the intent of following through with even more serious actions (eg. maybe more overt national advertising, further WTO suits when US breach WTO rules again, etc). 100% RB is just their way of starting the process. The long-term goal would be to crack the US open, so WSEX can legally operate from within. The first internet betting shop to do so, if it is large enough to penetrate and expand faster than the followers, will make a killing. WSEX have all the necessary resources to do it, and given their ealier WTO actions, they already seem to be heading down this road. That would be nothing but great news, as far as I'm concerned. If I am right this will take a long time (it won't happen in a few months) to come to fruition, and WSEX will want to be BIG when the doors open, so it is likely (hopeful) that their inducements will continue (if not increase) If I am right there should be supporting evidence appearing from other directions, eg. are they pushing the boundaries in the sports area in the US, are they filing an more suits in the WTO, etc? Good luck to them! |

[ QUOTE ] The idea that the bad players will be giving their money away to poker players instead of to the site-operators does hold some merit though. [/ QUOTE ] True, but I don't think they'll care if their poker room grows by 1000% in a few months. [/ QUOTE ] yeah! think of all the rake they'll be.. errr |
