I just downloaded this. I got it running and everything, but I can't figure out how to get the hands imported into PT. I can't find the folder from PT where the HH's are stored. Any help here?

[/ QUOTE ]

the HHFs are writen in the directory you started FPHG from
the best way to import with PT is to use the lightning bolt and add the directory you have FPHG in

The idea (see here) about using a fake EmpirePoker.exe might also help too if your are having problems getting PT to set the folder (but I guess now Empire is merged then prehaps use PokerNow.exe or something like that?).

Hi Juk, I just dl'ed it as well. I start it (by clicking on the batch file) and then start the party client. I go to a table and wait but no grabs. I've read the readme and have the latest party client so what am I not doing right? TIA

Does FreePHG keep running (it should open a black command prompt box and stay open), or do you see it just pop up and close?

If it's running, make sure you're looking for the HHF's in the right place: the folder where you put FreePHG. They won't be in your Party folders, unless that's where you put FreePHG.

First try running without using the batch file and see if that helps or makes any difference.

If that fails to help, then try editing the batch file so that it looks like this:

FreePHG.exe -prof

And tell me if it is outputing anything while running (other than it's speed in hands/min).

If all else fails, then try editing the batch file to look like this:

FreePHG.exe -a 1

And tell me if that makes any difference.

This software looks fantastic, and I'd love to start using it, but I'm worried. Not to be a jerk or anything, but is this going to get me banned at Party Poker? I've heard of players being banned for using various "helper software" programs, and I'm wondering if this qualifies. I'd prefer not to lose my Party Poker account, and I'd HATE to lose my Party Poker bankroll. If this is senseless fearmongering, I apologize in advance, but is this software prohibited by Party Poker's rules?

I wish I could give you a better answer, but I don't think that anybody really knows the answer to this. It isn't listed in the T&C page as being prohibited to mine hands for you own use (whereas Stars does specifically make a point of outlawing data-mining).

As far as I know, Party has only ever banned players for outright cheating/collusion. I think even bot users have been sent warnings rather than being banned in the past, so I think as far as being banned and/or your funds being seized goes, then this is not so likely.

I think that the most likely way they will stop the use of FPHG (if they wish to?) is to simply block the method it uses to grab the HHs (so far their have been 3 updates and they haven't yet done this). I am not even 100% sure if they actually left this to keep Multi-Tablers from leaving the site, as by doing it this way they; keep it a "grey" area, keep Multi-Tablers happy, and at the same time the fish don't hear about it.
