ucla,
why mention anything, other than to clayton in private that you did it. why mention that it was a well known poster who had posted in the thread. if clayton wants to talk about it he can feel free, and you certainly have the right to defend yourself then if people get on you for it. I generally have very little patience for the sort of half-revealing that goes on in these kinds of threads and you were just as guilty of it on the opposite side.

[/ QUOTE ]

By the way, comparing me, who anonymously stated that I turned someone in for having multiple accounts, to those who KNOW who the cheaters are, state they do, but then do nothing about it, is highly insulting and I am very disappointed in your position. I am just as guilty? LOL

JJ what name do you play under? since we all know nothing; then feel free to enlighten us.

[/ QUOTE ]

Comments like these are the reason I rarely post here.

[/ QUOTE ]
I thought it was because we found out you were like 15, chastised you, then you got caught cheating and receeded into the night, humiliated, only to show back up briefly as MrBlair, an account you also used on online poker sites and won money with, then disappeared again after running a few LL's. Shall I continue?

[/ QUOTE ]

I really don't care. You can attack me all you want, but you have never talked to me Jurollo. What do you think you know about me?

However, attacking me is beside the point. The point is that multi-accounting, ghosting friends, buying stacks, and whatever else you can think of is apart of online poker. It is part of the internet, and as we all know, it is impossible to regulate.

Because of this, why try to attack other players, myself included? Ok, I have been caught before, but so what? Hundreds of players have done it, and hundreds are still doing it I imagine. There is no way to stop this, it's very simple.

JJ--

I had never heard of you or any of your cheating history until I read this thread. But after reading this post of yours, I must say:

Wow, you are an unbelieveable scumbag. I cannot believe anyone actually thinks this way. You are a disgrace to poker and an embarrassment to human beings.

come on ucla, you are twisting my words. I said you are just as guilty of half revealing something, as other people have been of half revealing cheaters. Obviously im not passing judgement of the culpability of the underlying act. The fact is that the way in which you revealed your actions did as much (if not more) harm to your case as the good that reporting Clayton did. And im one of the few people who thinks reporting Clayton was good.

Also, its pretty telling from both sides of this argument that the only points of mine that anybody is responding to are the ones relating to how the messages are being delivered, and not the ones relating to the substance of the problem. Everybody in this thread is so busy being argumentative, and yelling about why the other people are being stupid that the meat of the problem really isnt getting the attention it deserves.

fwiw I'm the guy Paul reported to stars. everyone knows ive had multiple accounts, i guess the knowledge just reached Paul yesterday.

looking @ my pokerdb record will show zero overlap between any of the accounts (which i provided to paul out of my own good will to cease his pointless witchhunt), so if i'm guilty of anything it would be, well, having more than one account, which nobody seemed to care about except paul just recently.

obviously that violates the terms and conditions, so since paul wanted to report me i guess i will face facts. its just annoying im gonna have to go back to my lame original name created when i didnt know how to make a cool sn. sigh.

uclabruinz12 (10:03:46 AM): my conclusion is that you are breaking the rules of the site
uclabruinz12 (10:03:53 AM): you may be cheating, bugt i have no proof of that
uclabruinz12 (10:04:05 AM): i'm just sickened by this whole thing
uclabruinz12 (10:04:12 AM): and upset

A key flaw in your protests is that the "witches" being hunted were not witches, and the "communists" being targeted under McCarthyism were not communists.

You, on the other hand, are admitting being a multi-accounter and at the same time bitching about being outed as a multi-accounter.

Forgive me if I don't feel sorry for you.

No, thanks. I agree with ucla and others that there's no legitimate reason to have more than one account.

Sure, maybe Clayton never multi-accounted, but would he admit it if he had? Do we take him at his word simply because he's a good player and other 2+2ers think he's a good guy?

If you don't want people to think you might be cheating, don't multi-account. It's against the TOS for a reason. Many accounts sure make it a lot easier to cheat, don't you think?

It's funny, because Aejones just said that multi-accounting sickens him, but then listed three players he'd take advantage of if they multi-accounted because it's +EV. And then Adanthar said "well, one of them is good," and then Paul wrote another post about how all of this is horrible. Yup - this problem is getting solved right quick!

This is the best thread ever - I wish I had some beer or schwag right now.

Barry
