Edit to add: Is there not a better way for you to make your initial deposit? IE if you're trying to get a significant amount of money into your bankroll, would you be better off depositing onto one of the big sites via EFT or Debit Card, then start moving money on and off sites with your eWallet? For whatever reason, C2P and MB's biggest weakness seems to be funding the eWallet from our bank accounts. It strikes me that the poker sites want to make it as easy as possible to get money on to their sites, so they have more options available. The only downside of course, is at most sites, this will require some "cover play". Just a thought.

Actually, when I used Neteller, I deposited only twice and from then on just used what I won. Note that I'm mainly a sports bettor and poker is a passing hobby.

I have enough in my various merchant accounts to send to Moneybookers without having to wire anymore. The initial deposit bankwire was just a way to seed the Moneybookers account. I doubt I'll ever deposit wire again to Moneybookers but it's the fees on receiving incoming wires to my bank from moneybookers that will kill me. Moneybookers' fee and my bank's fee really add up.

I don't really want to say the site, YET, because I'm still talking with them about it. Let's just say that it's not a poker site but a HUGE sports site that's everyone's heard of.

Seriously though, do you know what you did wrong to have your Moneybookers deposit go missing? Or was it just a random thing? I was thinking of sending Ks to Moneybookers from my accounts at other sites but now I'm going to hold off on that till I find out how reliable Moneybookers is.

You say I don't want to know how long it took you to resolve the $10 deposits, but I have to know how long and how you did it. Even if it's just going to piss me off even more.

I said how long, on the very next line.

"It took a few days with UB, and it took about 10 days with Party. Of course these two sites have notoriously bad CS, and since it was only $10 "test" deposits, I wasn't really worried about it, and never bothered phoning either of them."

I resolved them both by email...SEVERAL emails.

It seemed to be random. I made 3 - $10 deposits that first day. One to Party, one to Ultimate, and one to Everest. Everest went through right away, the other two did not. For both UB and Party, once the deposit finally showed up, I immediately made another deposit. Each one went through instantly.

Have you looked into getting EFTs/Cheques from any of the major sports betting sites? I never withdrew from NT, I always got an EFT from Party.

Betsafe Redux:

Cashier's menu includes Click2Pay and not Moneybookers. Can't say I've used either one though.

And BTW my earlier post re: ongame was regarding EuroBet (not EuroPoker)

Continued thanks Bobo.

I would love to do that but the bureaucracy of sites is unbelievable. Once you deposit by Neteller, you can only withdrawal by Neteller. Which is why I'm in this f***ing mess in the first place. With Neteller out, I've had to sign up for Moneybookers which has been one bad experience so far.

Friggin sites with similar names! Eurobet, Europoker...Betfair, Betsafe...&^%^$@#$ LOL. I'll fix that later.

I think I'll leave Betsafe alone until I hear from a Canadian who has actually successfully used those methods, although the options being on the Cashier page sounds pretty good.

Yeah, making that change for cashout options from NT to cheque/EFT can be a bit of a hassle, from what I've heard. Probably require multiple phone calls/emails. Hopefully that will become easier next week when NT is actually no longer an option...seems like that would be the best cashout method for you.

Another good news update. Just received a $750 cashout from UB to Moneybookers. Requested it yesterday, received it today.

Hopefully everyone's got "all their ducks in a row" in regards to Neteller. Only a little over 48 hours left until they're shut down to us for moving money on to/off of poker sites, and I'm not sure how a holiday weekend will affect cashout times.

I've cashed out all my Cryptos that have no other eWallet options, and I'm just waiting for my last cashout from Paradise...just left myself enough to clear the massive amount of bonus I have stacked there. Since I never cash out directly from NT, I'll be cleaning out my NT account later today or tomorrow on to a few poker sites, then I'm done with them! Don't want to leave it to Sunday, just in case they get bogged down. I doubt that will happen, but I'd rather not chance it.

i'm surprised you had enough confidence in neteller to keep money in there until now. all my money was put into sites within a day of the announcement.

I got this email from EUROBET which seems like a nice deal:

"As you may be aware, from Monday 9th April, you will no longer be able to use Neteller to deposit or withdraw from your Eurobet account.

However, there's no need to worry - you will still be able to play with us using either a Bank Transfer or the EcoCard Internet Payment method.
How To Use EcoCard
EcoCard is a quick and easy Internet payment method where you can deposit using a host of banks and alternative payment options worldwide.

To use EcoCard, simply go to www.ecocard.com, click on 'Registration', choose your currency and then provide your email address and password. Once your EcoCard is created and activated, funds can be deposited.

In order to make a deposit into your Eurobet account using EcoCard:

1. Login to your account
2. Select "Deposit" under the "account options" menu
3. Choose EcoCard as a payment method
4. Enter the amount you wish to deposit
5. Then enter your EcoCard Account Number (10 - digits) and your Password
6. You're ready to play!

Special EcoCard Offer!
If you switch to EcoCard, make a deposit and email [email protected] by Thursday 3rd May, we'll give you a $200 BONUS - paid directly into your account!

Our customer service team is on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle your queries on 0044 (0)1483 765 893 or you can send them an internal message through your account.
