FINALLY INTERNET AND TV AT MY APARTMENT WOOOO

Anyway, last night it had been about 5 days since my last poker session, which is the longest I've gone in months, so I decided to head to Central Coast Casino to donk around in their $3/$6 LHE game (it's a small place, only two tables, same game on both).

The players there are the worst I've ever seen. Typical hand is raised preflop with about 5-6 seeing the flop; 3-bet pots are rare, because when someone does 3-bet it always gets capped, still with 4-5 seeing the flop.

AA - lost to J6o
QQ - lost to KJo
JJ - made a nice fold on T85 flop when a raising war between 85 and flush draw developed (flush ended up hitting)
JJ - check-fold on A-high flop

The hands I did win:

Red 44 UTG+1, UTG opens for a raise, I cold call (given the way this game plays, cold-calling = super +EV), like four more people call.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Checked to me, I bet, a few people call.

Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
ZOMG QUADZZZ checked to me, I bet, a couple people call.

River: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
ZOMG PERFECT CARD checked to me, I bet, someone raises, folded to me, I 3bet, he flat calls and says "ace-ten good" and I show him quads instead. HUUUUGE pot, puts me about even from being down $100.

Another one:

Black TT in EP. I open for a raise, like three people call.

Flop T87r, I bet, two callers in the blinds.

Turn 3, I bet, two callers. I'm yelling at the dealer to pair the board.

River 9. LOL OF COURSE! Checked to me, I flip TT, they both muck.

Here's a hand from the perspective of a donkey that shows how retarded these guys are:

DonkHero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
A few limpers, DonkHero limps, LP raises, bunch of people call, DonkHero calls.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
EP bets, DonkHero calls, LP raises, EP calls, DonkHero calls.

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
EP bets, DonkHero takes his time, studies his cards, studies the board, glances at LP as LP already has 12 chips in his hand waiting to raise, and calls. LP raises. EP calls. DonkHero calls.

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
EP checks, DonkHero bets with a smile on his face. LP swears in a foreign language and calls. EP folds. DonkHero shows his straight and LP throws his cards away disgustedly while cursing to himself.

Yes, these are the guys that were sitting with the biggest stacks while I went from even -> bleed off chips to -$100 -> quads back to even -> bleed off chips to -$80 -> set back to even -> bleed off chips to -$80, cash out.

[censored] MINBET POKER

CCC's other location has a NL game on Friday nights with (get this) $1/$3 blinds and a $60 max buyin. Last night someone told me that by the end of the night there's about 4-5 grand on the table though, and given how the limit game played I believe it, so I'll probably head up there tonight.

sorry epdaws, I am in exactly the same situation myself right now. I do have $3000 in my underwear drawer though so I think tomorrow I will go play 2/5 NL at the borgata.

Can't wait till I can get some cash into FT though so I can come beat the [censored] out of db, 2paul2, and jam. well, maybe not jam .
