Naps are awesome wtf

This hand is why, even when you think a TAG is playing back at you with your cbets, you have to wait to hit a real hand:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

Hero (SB): $25.20
BB: $39.90
UTG: $13.35
MP: $14.30
CO: $22.90
BTN: $13.75

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG calls $0.25, MP folds, <font color="red">CO raises to $1.10</font>, BTN folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.25</font>, 2 folds, CO calls $2.15

Flop: ($7) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $4.00</font>, <font color="red">CO raises to $10.25</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $21.95</font>, CO calls all-in for $9.40
Uncalled bet of $2.30 returned to Hero

Turn: ($46.30) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($46.30) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $46.30 ($2.30 Rake)

CO had T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pair, Eights and Twos) and LOST (-$22.90)
Hero had K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (two pair, Kings and Twos) and WON (+$21.10)

This TAG is minraising me on so many of my cbets, and whenever I get a hand to play back with, he hits the nuts. So annoying.

every time i tell myself i'm being too weak tight postflop and not making enough moves, i get destroyed

Yup, me too. I'm trying to keep it simple these days.

1. If I meet resistence from an ordinary monkey I give him credit for an ok hand and play my own hand cautiously or I just goddam well fold. And I don't call that ridiculous out-of-the-blue river pot-sized donk without good reason.

2. If I meet no resistence I either run over him with cbs or I valuetown him.

3. If the resistence is coming from an aggromonkey, often TP is good at s/d or a c/r bluff makes him fold somewhere in the middle.

4. Once every two hours or so I actually catch the perfect storm: meeting resistence when I myself have a serious hand. Then, beautiful things happen.

5. ???

6. Profit!

Are you in college yet? Once you have a semester or two under your belt you will understand the importance of a good mid-afternoon nap.
