You've shown how much of an idiot you are throughout the entire thread.
My reason for it not being a foul had nothing to do with where he was on the court. The reason it changed the game is because he was too close to the sidelines. He goes down the middle of the court and there is no foul no step on the line and we're all happy.

please just stop. It really is a non-issue. The call is perfectly standard. It's the type of call where the same exact fan base would bitch about the call depending on what side of the ball they were on. Baron even admitted it himself: he messed up. Let it go. rad. awesome. rad.

Can we get back to bashing Bowen? Who the f randomly kicks someone in their post-surgery Achilles? What a f'in douchebag.

the same guy who jump kicks people in the face? Its not surprising that Bowen is dirty. Also not surprising: The NBA would never in a million years consider taking action against the spurs in the playoffs for crap like this, hence why they continue to do it.

It was not bad officiating it was terrible foul shooting. The warriors run and gun style lends itself to hot and cold streaks. I personally think GS is completely outmatch in this series, but we will see game 3 at home they should def be favorites. If you think this was terrible officiating you must not watch the NBA consistently.

[/ QUOTE ]

obviously it was terrible ft shooting, as ive admitted 5+ times and had my statement ignored like 20+ times, but yeah, i blame us insofar as we shot free throws poorly.

how on earth are we completely outmatched? we lost the first game in the last minute and we lost this game in overtime.

i watch the nba constantly AND i never said the officiating(in this series) was more terrible than usual. its really interesting how many times ive been told that i said something and then its like, oops, wait no he never said that, oh well ill accuse him of that anyways. maybe thats where mr biggins is getting all these "idiotic" accusations from, which is funny, because the only real point he made was that Baron "should" have been in the middle of the court and that since he was close to the sidelines he totally deserved not to have that foul called. right. not idiotic at all.

I love how people put so much energy on this one play of the game. First and foremost the NBA these days is pretty soft in terms of contact.

Watch any game from the 80',90' and you will see a lot more contact/serious hand checking/ arm tangling and grabbing in the low post/ etc.

Moral of the story I tend to always go with the no call esp. late in games. The fans of basketball not just one team are looking for fun game to watch. Not a 15 min FT contest with 1:10 left.

The warriors had plenty of opportunities to win this game and they just choked don’t be a cry baby!

Nobody is calling that foul at the end of a playoff game no matter where they are on the floor.

right. awesome. rad. right?

I don't mind Bowen kicking Wally in the face. He's eating up too much of the Cs cap room, he deserved it preemptively.

The Anthony Parker one looks normal.

The Ray Allen one is no biggie. Dirty? Sure, but nothing rotten.

The Amare and Francis ones are plain rotten, though. How has no one taken him out yet?

you do realize of course that they called 2 fouls in the remaining :27 right?

One for (one of) our worse FT shooters and then the obvious "oh crap time to foul" one on Fisher.

....just not the one that would have allowed us to possibly go up 5 with :27 remaining.

You know, the one that would have forced Utah to immediately foul from there on out...

because then the NBA would take action against them, and they would continue to let bruce bowen do his thing. its just so sick how the nba works. its honestly a good bit of what has made me watch more soccer this year and less nba. The officiating in soccer is actually less bad then the NBA, which most people will probably respond with "OMG SOCCER PLAYERS FLOP ALL THE TIME". to which i will respond, "okay, and they give yellow cards for that, whereas the NBA officials rotate giving the no call and awarding the flopper by giving him the call". Its really kinda gross.

I said that specific play. They may call other plays fouls but what Fisher did will not grant you the call that late int he game. Who cares about other fouls.... we're talking about this play not the other one.
