[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] eventually, somebody's gonna lay a late hit on brady and take him out. [/ QUOTE ] Heh, my buddy called me from Vegas screaming into the phone this exact thing. Yeah, Brady was in one series too many. [/ QUOTE ] Is there a single example in NFL history of a player being "taken out" because he was winning too much or by too much? [/ QUOTE ] We are not mind readers but I would say no. Brady was taken out because for two reasons. a) to reduce threat of injury when the game was out of reach and b) give the backup some game experience. |

doesn't have to be a cheap hit. It could happen on a routine play.

He quoted my post about my buddy calling me that Brady should be out to reduce the threat of injury. After I laughed at him I agreed that it made sense. Not because someone was going to try and cheap shot him, so I don't know why Dynasty responded the way he did.

The odds that something happens routine is obviously much higher than the odds someone goes out to hurt him. I feel Dynasty was saying that you might as well let him play since no one is gonna cheap shot him since no one has before. But lets face it injuries happen all the time in football. Regardless of intention. |

haha one of the funniest things for me is when someone says :
'man, the pats have no class whatsoever, sooner or later someone is gonna take brady out with a late hit to teach them a lesson!' right, cos that's classy! and no i'm not referring to any specific post, just stuff i heard in past weeks. |

When it's 4th quarter and you're up 35-0 or so, I'd sub the entire team. Let the starters rest and give the subs more experience out there. I don't get this keep Brady in so he throws another zillion times and risks injury.
