meh, didn't see, but heilman look like he got into a bit of trouble...seriously, i know he's gotta work through his problems and this might be the time for it before the big games, but still, this is a bad trend...

2/3 of the 8th inning. Schowenweis had to clean up after Heilman.

I am sick of exciting wins. We shouldnt have to bear exciting wins vs. Williams and Bergmann(the nats starters in case you've never heard of them) while squeezing out a loss to Chico. Small sample size and all that but this Nationals pitching staff should be a serious missmatch for the mets.

So whats the word for tonight? Is Hernandez ok to pitch? Is Bostick or Park coming up to pitch? If either do who goes on the DL is it Valentin or El Duque?

Humber, Vargas, and Sosa all pitched this past weekend so they are unavailable. I hope El Duque is ok to go.

Daily News says Valentin is out for a month. I'm not sure where they got that from because there isn't any other news on Valentin.

I had heard that Buster Olney also mentioned it this morning. Not sure if one just took the news from the other.
