yeah I guess his cockiness kind of turned me off, but now I have accepted it and love it. Sorta like why I like Bill Walton as well. Both don't hold back, and both say absurd things.

Here's a screenshot of something else I've been working on.

It's sorted by a stat that counts goals scored plus assists over an arbitrary replacement player (right now set for 75% of the average performance levels) for the position. Now I've got minutes, goals, assists, offside, shots, SOG for every player in the Premiership. If anyone knows the best way to get this stuff online, I'd love to hear it.

Also, it probably wasn't clear earlier, but I want to know how best to publish the spreadsheet online not find the numbers online.

It's international week, qualifying matches for Euro 2008.

I finally got around to watching Chelsea-Blackburn. Makelele looked extremely good and to me was clearly the best player on the pitch. He seemed to be everywhere. Ballack looked decent but not amazing, Lampard was disappointing, and Essien was worse. I think Essien should take fewer shots, I think he took three or four in poor spots that were all way off the mark.

Boulahrouz looked alright, so did Bridge, Terry was fine especially in the second half (he seemed a bit invisible in the first half), and Carvalho looked fine for most of the game despite what looked like a potentially costly mistake in the first half.

Drogba is very good. Kalou surprised me, he'll be good in the near future. Shevchenko was kind of meh, but him and Drogba together is scary.

Also, for anyone who's interested, I've updated the page to include updated standings and numbers as well as the entire statistics database. Unfortuantely, it's not yet sortable.

Please read through the first page and ask any questions that aren't covered there.

Also, it looks like Arsenal is looking to get Tevez. This should happen as I just signed him to my Arsenal team in WE9.
