Anyone play on Absolute Poker? I've never played there but I'm looking to bonus whore that $500 sign-up... How long do you think it'd take to clear 8-9 tabling 25 NL? Do they release the bonus all at once, or in $20 increments like FT?

[/ QUOTE ]it is gonna clear super slow at 25nl and u can only 6 table at abso. also u r gonna b playin deep if u dindt kno.

I have no desire to move up, I think i've posted this like a thousand times, I was a reg as high as 5/10 at pokerroom like 2-3 years ago.... I was really bad but a pretty good winner 4 tabling....... poker has changed a ton, the bigger games are hard to beat and I have a real job now..... im content with what I consider low variance at smaller stakes making 30-50 an hour is plenty.... and frankly I can't for the life of me figure out how to beat 400nl these days..... plus I have more than you would like to know locked up in neteller....... /endlife

fwiw, I think absolute is like sick soft, especially if your a good deepstack player, obv I love playing a lot of hands which require better made hand odds to hit....... its really juicy from 50nl-200nl.....

I can easily log a [censored] of hands, like 15-20k in a week, so I'm hoping at max it takes 2 weeks. Just need to set up RB

as mentioned I play much different depending on what strategy I think is playing optimal at a given level........ generally I think my play would be better at 400nl as people raise a lot wider range and also 3bet with much greater frequency and therefore much much lighter....... like 19-(16 or 17) to 18-(16 or 15)

i wont try to reason the 2s3s hand as I know you all have been taught to flame someone coldcalling that hand on the button........ 3betting is probably much better, anyways......... the KcQc hand is like the easiest call ever.... heres why.......... im getting better than 2-1 on my call....... villains range is really small........ we are 130bb deep, therefore im calling ~6% of my stack/ which is nothing/ fine........ If you don't call this 3bet then I think you really really lack confidence in your post flop play..........

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 29.262% 28.82% 00.45% 16283154 251497.50 { KcQc }
Hand 1: 70.738% 70.29% 00.45% 39719883 251497.50 { JJ+, AQs+, AKo }

lol @ we've all been taught

obviously if you have a significant postflop advantage the KQs isn't terrible, but at 50NL where the 3b ranges are much tighter, you're going to have to annihilate the flop in order to cash in on your implied odds.
