nl50 is more aggro on ftp than stars. i tend to play a 19/16 game there and do just fine.

[ QUOTE ] wtf at calling 23s and semi-wtf at calling KQs [/ QUOTE ] I think this has been discussed with monumental frequency across these forums..... the games are much much different/harder then they were a year ago.... you can still win playing a solid TAG style, but I don't think you are going to be a consistant big winner.... I like to try lots of new styles.... I am in no way supporting playing the game I play if your not comforatable with it... but stars nl50 is a huge nitfest.... if I get 3bet by a non reg its pretty easy to put them on a narrow range.... knowing this.... if I get my $ in, its gonna get in golden, or close to golden, I make very few -ev plays, behind maybe 2400 ETOI and a few others, I don't think there are many nl50 stars regs that play more hands than I do, and I am by far one of the biggest winners in the game.... i think somewhere around 24/18 is pretty optimal at nl50 stars... its the biggest nitfest ever these days and you need to be involved in a lot of pots, especially in position, people playing fewer tables will start trying to make moves on you, and then you just wait...., I play 19/16 when I play higher.... position is the greatest advantage for a great post flop player at microstakes.... you wont see me make either of these plays without the button. [/ QUOTE ]why would u b playin 50nl if u rarely make -ev plays and r one of the biggest winners their?!?! move up?!!? |

Anyone play on Absolute Poker? I've never played there but I'm looking to bonus whore that $500 sign-up... How long do you think it'd take to clear 8-9 tabling 25 NL? Do they release the bonus all at once, or in $20 increments like FT?
