FWIW I think Germany, France, Holand the whole of Scandinavia and some other countries in Europe are pretty borring in general. It depends on what you want to see though. If you want to go clubbing every day, then Paris and Amsterdam are perfect places to visit. For me, if I want to travel, I always look for as much contrast as posible. I want to see places that are very different from what I used to see etc.

I am going to backpack through Europe (only a part of it actualy) this summer and this is my route, if anyone is interested to see/comment it:

Dude i went backpacking a couple of years ago.
took the route from copenhagen through Germany,Holland,France, Spain,Italy and the Chech republic...

Best route if you ask me...

Brag: Just got my new monitor set up. 20.1" Samsung SyncMaster 204 BW. Thanks to you guys for helping me pick a good monitor. Picks to come. This thing is sick though. Time to 9 table with no overlap...thank you god
