Low sample, gtfo.

Seriously though, you're making more in any level of the four main ones than the 25-50, probably just variance at this point.

Flop AF might be a bit low IMO for 25-50 though, but my advice is to play more, you seem to be doing good things in other levels including 50-100 so it's unlikely but not terribly unlikely that you should actually be losing in the 25-50.

ok decided to look at 700 hu sng sample. surprisingly i'm a slight winner at the level (i thought i was a loser at 25/50). nonetheless, i need to work on my game there. raising to 125 seems to accomplish nothing. being too tight sucks. little maneuverability postflop. it's an awkward level.

MasterLJ, dont assume non of us havent been throught what you are going through multiple times. If you play enough this is probably going to happen bi-monthly I agree it sucks and its tough when its going on but what do you want us to say? Will anything we say make you feel better?

My advice fwiw, take a break. Some of those hands are played pretty poorly (number 2 for starters) and I'm assuming if you are running ok and playing well then you prob avoided about 1/4 of those spots. IMHO a downswing is pretty hard to play yourself out of and you often risk extending it by starting to play badly. Take a few days off and do something away from poker, trust me it works.

Thank you Leader.

Guys,

For the record... I have played north of a million hands. Hate me, dislike my posts, loathe my whining, but understand that what I'm going through is NOT normal variance. I have been around poker way too long to whine about normal variance or a few bad beats. When you play for your food and you watch half your BR evaporate due to [censored] hands, it makes you do weird things to cope.

This has been a good outlet for me and I appreciate the support.

For the record, cwar and I had a nice chat on AIM with hugs and kisses and all that crap.

Take a break or try to learn some other game in the meantime if you are addicted to poker like I am.

Yeah, cwar made a good suggestion about hopping into 6max, I might just do that.

I've been playing really well in tournies, but they haven't been all that kind either.

Well, you have Omaha, Stud..., everything you want, man. It won't hurt if you play something other than Hold'em for a week or so. Maybe you can even change sites. I am not saying FTP is rigged, but a different software might change things.

Try leading out more often when you miss flops. Most people have the same mentality as you do and decide to play way too tight. Take advantage and be the aggressor.

Nothing wrong with 125 vs most players until you hit 1k or so, but I've minraised at 1500 against certain players, rare but I have.
