I swear reading the micro forum is making my game worse. I'm still working back into the flow of the game and I've been trying to play up through the micros and read & post there, but there's just so many awful players posting in that forum

[/ QUOTE ]

The same could be said of SSNL a year or so ago

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you are missing the point of the forum. There has always been bad advice here. Learning here has never been a passive exercise of reading what good players have to say. It's much more about reading other poeples' opinions and working out for yourself whether you agree/disagree. Even if you end up agreeing with every word someone wrote, you understand what they said at a deeper level [/lecture]

it's like reading a Pynchon novel

[/ QUOTE ]

ugh, I spend a few hours each week talking about Pynchon with my senior lit group in school. I was really hoping to not see him come up on 2p2!

I'm a big fan of Pynchon

The Crying of Lot 49 and Gravity's Rainbow really float my boat

On FT tonite for a bit, there was about 100 NL100 tables going. And that number was static. No new tables were showing up to be opened. Anyone ever see that before, I hadn't.

I play 1 2 but the tables tonight were awesome earlier. I only made 600 because I made a bunch of mistakes and really didn't play well, but I felt guilty leaving they were so good. I was getting used to having to tough regulars at the table 3 betting me like crazy. Today/tonight a ton of unknowns and they all sucked . LOL at anyone who says the small stakes games aren't good anymore. I make so so many mistakes and still make 6+ ptbb/100. If I actually got good I think I could make 11 at 1 2. Drunk rambling but whatever (at least no silly hand historys right orange?)

Ya there were 77K people playing earlier(for you non FT peeps, there is typically 40K at primetime). I thought maybe there was some new bonus being offered or something. Games were ridic good too.

edit: wtf there is still 73K people playing? Did they start to count play money tables too?
