ROFL from tufats blog, March 2006:

I think this bad month has been real good for my patience, and has helped me lose a major aspect of my degenerate gambling tendencies, ie my BJ weakness. BJ is only for casino whoring.

I was considering getting plastic surgery.

Namely dermabrasion, jaw implants to make my jaw more prominant, botox under my eyes to get rid of the blue/gray area and some filler in my cheeks.

What's ssnl's opinion on this?

[/ QUOTE ]
I guess you already know that no one here will encourage you to do it, so maybe you are seeking for some confirmation here why you should not do it?

From your earlier posts here, I can imagine your thought processes that lead to your consideration, but I strongly disencourage it. I had those thoughts as well when I was in puberty. You are feeling more insecure about yourself than you should be. I am way less good looking than you, but, eventually, I also found that special nice, pretty, intelligent girl that I live together with now - but I had to turn 23 before I met her. You're still so young! So just be patient, plastic surgery is not changing anything. Except that you might look into the mirror then and think "that is not me anymore" which could get you depressed.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually I didn't know people would be so negative torwards it. I thought it'd be more mixed.

I understand what you're saying, but I feel like my change needs to be external as well as internal change. Maybe I'm wrong in that thinking...

I don't think I'm average looking, I just wanted to look very good is all. I think it will impact finding girls very little however, since if I don't possess the skills now a slightly different chin won't help me any.

Well thanks for the input, I will maybe still do the less drastic dermabrasion but prob won't do anything above that.

So today I did some research and found the best haircut place in tokyo, after the last 8$ debacle. Went to Harajuku the fashion capital of Japan.
Went to a super ritzy place. About 2 people worked on my hair and one gave me the most awesome back massage.
3 hours, -200$ and a pissed off friend later I have the most balla haircut I've ever had.

Pictures to follow.

FWIW, I don't have any taboo on plastic surgery, but it has to be for the right reasons. If you just think a new face would be cool and money is not an issue, then sure go ahead - that's actually kinda cool. But if you expect plastic surgery to give you a life which you feel you can't get with your current face, then it is wrong in my opinion - because that it almost never true.

My impression was that your reason for it was the latter, but I can be wrong of course

A balla haircut is never a bad thing though
