On Devin's hand -

Yeah, the other hands are possible, but how likely? This is live, right? All in's live are way more conservative, no?

Villian is playing standard/solid, so if anyone is noticing Devin not playing many hands it's him. The turn action is ridic.

If he doesn't have the nuts, he had to decide to just call at first on the turn on a dangerous board.

He might also have bet some of the hands you beat on the flop and reraised some of them preflop.

I will bet dinner (regular dinner, not fancy dinner) vs. a beer that he had a straight on the turn. [no bet unless I confirm - only people I know - I don't know results, you can't either obv.]

Karp,
Call both.

Devin,
I would call folding the second nuts isn't fun.

Cool. Booked. Ready for results.

Maybe he posted it because he folded but would have won.

I've already mooched beer and dinner from you and your house anyway so I'm freerolling you.

You'll notice I said "straight" in the bet, not necessarily KT. T8 does work better as a call preflop too.

Sorry for missing out on the split. Obviously a very tough spot.

Meh, I was just getting a lot of bad cards one night and didn't really like my location so I changed it. Maybe I should have been playing those J6o hands.

well that night at caesar's, we announce that its the last hand, so obv costanzag straddles to 5 and i blind raise to $15. i get J6o and bengiec 3-bets to $45, and it folds back to me

we are like $700 deep so i call, flop comes 256 rainbow and i check/call $60 or $70. turn is a J, ben checks and i bet $150 or $175 or something, he shoves, i snapcall and he shows 88, gg ben and ship the $1500 pot at 1/2.
